Terrie's not only great with horses, she's great with kids as well. My daughter loves both her and the horse. Terrie's rates are unbeatable and her demeanor is unmatchable. Very grateful to Thumbtack for this matchup!

It has been a wonderful experience for my daughter to learn riding horses from Mrs. Nancy. I have been very impressed with her work, and my daughter loves going for her lessons. I also appreciate that she is teaching everything about the horses to my daughter; the tools for cleaning and caring for horses, saddling, riding, and safety. As a parent, I could not ask for anything else!! I would highly recommend her to others wanting to learn how to ride and take care of horses.

Haven't yet gone to the ranch but the response and help offered from Sally so far has been very positive and very open to be able to meet my needs in what I'm looking for in horseback archery! I wasn't expecting such a helpful response posting a request. With help from Sally, I may be able to get the right horses for the archery riding!

Wendy Potts is the finest riding instructor and trainer I've ever had the privilege to work with. Her ability to work with any rider (from beginner to advanced) is unparalleled. She is not only very clear and concise in her approach to coaching but makes it fun as well!

I loved riding horses on the trials! Personally, I liked that our guide wasn't all up in our converstatiobs we were having so it gave me time to talk to my aunt and enjoy the riding. The first time I went I rode Princess I think and that was loads of fun. I loved it so much that I begged to go back and rode Aero my second time. The best part was that you weren't cramped up in the woods hitting all the trees with your head, we rode along the river on a dirt path and there was so much room that our guide would let us trot and my aunt and I had races with the horses. I would say it was definitely the best trial ride I have ever done and the stable was SO big and clean. I enjoyed petting all the horses in the stalls. The dogs in the barn are funny too when they run across the board above your head, looking down at the stalls. I can't remember the horses name but we got to pet a HUGE black perchron and he was the sweetest thing! I can't wait to go visit my aunt and go horse riding with her at Stockyard Stables. It's totally worth it!

I'm a fairly inexperienced rider and over the two years I've been riding have used 4 trainers. Kelsey is awesome, she gives great feedback and encourages me to challenge myself which has really improved my riding skills. She is also very reliable which not every trainer I've worked with was, I really appreciate that since I have a lot going on and scheduling is crucial for me. Thanks Kelsey!!

About

I grew up riding horses and I had a very special horse of my own. I learn Western and English riding. I would love to share my love for horses and teach anyone the thrill of riding and the special relationship that bonds the horse to their owner.

About

I have been giving riding lessons since 1997. I teach beginner through advanced riders. I also give barrel racing lessons and pole bending lessons. I will provide the horses and the tack or you can bring your own. I can drive out to your location, just email me, and I can give you a price for my driving time. I charge $40 for one lesson, $150 for a package of four lessons, or $215 for a package of six lessons. The lessons I give are private and last around an hour all together, and we spend 45 minutes in saddle. I teach horsemanship along with the saddle time. I'm big on safety and having full control of the horse so the first lesson maybe spent mostly doing slow work, learning how to control the horse properly. I also break and train horses. If you're looking to board your horse, we have a beautiful boarding facility as well. If you have any other questions, please email me or call/text me. *Be sure to look up Little K Acres on Facebook.*
