Hilton and his wife were awesome to engage with. Their professionalism and prompt attention to our inquiry set the stage for a very productive interview. After talking with them and ultimately seeing their facility, we're confident we made the right decision.Aug 7, 2018VerifiedHilton Butler's K-9 Bootcamp's reply
Jeff - We are absolutely adoring Maggie. She is a great little gal! She is making wonderful progress and my kids absolutely LOVE playing ball with her. We have nicknamed her Tigger because she can bounce so high. Thank you for your kind words and we look forward to a long relationship with you and Maggie!
We took our very determined Labradoodle Luke to stay with them and he came back a different dog. Love the potty on command aspect great work. Kennel training was great as well. Luke isn't perfect but they will be actually coming here for follow ups soonAug 19, 2017Verified
Hilton is very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. We are still working on our training, but Hilton did a great job laying the foundation for our puppy to be the perfect dog. I would recommend him to anyone!!May 28, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My standard programs (Puppy, Basic, and Advanced) are all the same time frame (4 weeks) and the same price. I have specialized programs for dogs with fear, anxiety, and aggression that may have different pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? After initial contact I prefer that my office speaks with the client to confirm that the program I recommended based on the information provided in Thumbtack is the correct program. At that point my office will gather some information from the client and email our paperwork. I do require a 50% deposit to hold a reservation as I take a limited number of dogs each month to work with. If the client would like to come out to my location and visit I encourage that as well. It is a quick and easy process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I was the Sergeant in Charge of Aggression Training for the Department of Defense Dog Training School for 3 years while in the United States Air Force. Prior to that I was a K-9 Handler for the USAF for 6 1/2 years. I have been in business since 2005 in the civilian world and have worked with over 1400 dogs since opening my doors. Dog training is not a "business" that you learn in books. Dog training is a skill that you learn through experience.
