We hired Rosalio to do a demo job, fix and repair a number of sheet-rock issues as we are getting a house ready to sell. He did such a great job. We ended up getting much more work done from popcorn ceiling removal, re-texturing the ceilings and he will be coming back to do our baseboards. Rosalio is talented in his trade and reasonable on price. I highly recommend his work.
I needed to get an estimate on repairing a 3 x 3 hole in the ceiling above my staircase. Rey contacted within a short period of time after I filled out my info on Thumbtack. Rey came out to my home later that day and gave me a reasonably competitive quote and also told me the we could come back in a couple days to make the repairs. Since we are in the process of remodeling our home one of the to do's is to get rid of our popcorn ceilings. So,I asked Rey if he could remove the popcorn ceiling and retexture the ceiling as well. Not only did I get a great quote he explained how the entire process would work and said he could provide samples of different textures like orange peel, knockdown, or If I wanted something different he could create samples for me. I was very pleased with Rey Painting & Drywall so much so I plan on having him come back to redo all my ceilings. I would highly recommend Rey's services to anyone.
Josh is one of the most reliable and professional people I have ever met. He and Daryl did two jobs for me (restructuring my backyard lights and installing an outdoor ceiling fan. They are easy to reach, honest in their assessments and very affordable.
This is the second time that I have used Next Door Painting. I just remodeled a duplex and Cameron was on top of everything. He took the time to explain to me about the "dots" on the ceiling called "popcorn." He also helped me choose the final colors. After we removed the popcorn, the house looked amazing! I would definitely hire Cameron (and his crew) again. Vicki H.
Gustavo was at my house a few hours after my initial post and gave me a fair estimate on the repair cost. He came back the following morning and worked efficiently and diligently to fix two big holes in my kitchen's popcorn ceiling. There was also a stress crack in the ceiling from a foundation shift as well. When he was done it looked damn near perfect. He also patched up a couple holes in the guest bathroom that I had forgotten to mention and didn't add anything to the estimate even though I asked him how much extra I owed him. I've got some painting I need done as well that I'm going to hire him on. I highly recommend hiring him.
I had a bedroom painted. They were clean, efficient, well priced, respectful and friendly. Of the three responses I received, Mr. Coleman was the only one that actually gave me a price for the job. While he was here I asked if they could hang a ceiling fan and he did that too. I will gladly hire Mr. Coleman for additional jobs for my personal home as well as my real estate business.
We had the popcorn scraped off the cathedral ceiling in our living room. They smoothed and painted the ceiling. We also had them paint the crown molding. It looks very nice.
Background: My home had 30 years of do-it-yourself remodeling done prior to me purchasing it, and the drywall was in a very sorry state: multiple textures, popcorn ceiling only partially removed, uneven and sagging drywall on the ceilings, etc. Additionally, I had moved some walls and done a bunch of electrical work, which left some spaces without drywall / holes where old wiring was removed. The Planning: Roberto met with me and we walked through the entire house with an eye for not just fixing the issues, but also improving things to meet current trends. I found this extremely helpful, as we were able to strategically scope this first project to minimize rework in the future! Roberto stressed that he is a perfectionist, and ensured me that if things were uncovered during the project he would either fix them as well or bring me in to review what additional work would be needed. On day 1, Roberto arrived with a crew of 5 people and walked them through the project, splitting them up into teams for maximum efficiency. I checked in after the first day and found they had fully protected my floors with cardboard, sealed off and covered fixtures and furniture with plastic, and had already made a lot of progress. This inspired a lot of confidence, and I didn't need to check back in for the remainder of the project. The results are spectacular. What looked like a war zone now looks like a nearly brand new home! No sagging ceilings, all the same texture, smooth ceilings, a new wall enclosing a bathroom that previously only had a partial divider wall, and his team even fixed up some things they found as they worked. All in all, the project was done on time, very professionally, and with little interruption to my work schedule. Highly recommended!
Drywall Repair Guy repaired two spots on our popcorn ceiling. They came out on short notice, did high quality repair work, and left the house clean. Their service was well worth the cost. We would definitely use them again.
Tim worked on two projects for me. The first was repairing and painting the ceiling of a large 2nd story game room that suffered water damage from a faulty AC unit. He was very meticulous with the repair and was even able to match the 15 year old paint. The repair is unnoticeable now. The 2nd project was the re-framing of the midsection of a 2nd level balcony. The balcony is over 600 sq ft it was leaking and the joists in the middle were rotten. Tim replaced the supports, sub flooring and the ceiling of the covered patio below. It was a very difficult job. Tim's depth of experience showed in the excellent job he did. Tim's always had an outstanding attitude. He was more concerned about the quality of work then he was about the speed of the job. I would highly recommend him for your next project.
I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. They were courteous & respectful. We hired them to remove the popcorn from our kitchen and washroom ceiling and the end result is amazing. They took the time to cover/seal everything with plastic so as to prevent dust from spreading. The project took 2 days to complete, and on the second day because my spouse and I had to work, we left the guys to finish the job unsupervised. We left a door open for them, they came in, finished the job and cleaned up after themselves. We trusted them alone in our home and they didn't dissapoint. Overall completely satisfied and happy with this service and will be contacting them again to finish the rest of our home.
Ever removed the popcorn ceiling in my guest room and retextured it with the “knock down” texture and painted it. Looks so nice! I will be hiring him for more projects.
Excellent experience, very conscious worker who shows up at the agreed upon time and wants the best for the customer. We had a large ceiling that needed floating and he took the time to make sure it was done right. I would recommended him for any popcorn removal job.
Popcorn ceiling repair and patching, wood shutters installed onto brick. He did a great job, very neat, and a good price. Will use him again.
Luis and his crew did a great job on our house. We needed help removing popcorn on our vaulted ceilings, and wanted it retextured before we moved in. Luis came out ahead of time and gave me different estimates, depending on how much we wanted, and didn't push us to do more than we could afford. When they were there they got straight to work and were very respectful of the other things going on in the house. Luis even patched up a spot we messed up on the wall in one of the other rooms, and it looked great! We plan to use Herrera's Painting again in the future as we want more work done.
I had water damage in my kitchen ceiling. Ulysis put a new ceiling in with crown molding and did an excellent job. I am very pleased with the job he did. I highly recommend him.
Kenny Luna and his 5 man crew did an outstanding job. I hired them to remove load bearing walls and to do demolition in my house. They worked three full days and accomplished so much: demo'd the wood parkay floors, all three bathrooms, a stair case, and multiple walls and ceilings. They also framed out many doors, windows, and walls that needed to be replaced. Great work, Kenny!
Tom has completed replacement of water heater deck, installed new tile, removed & installed tile, built custom closet doors, removed/textured/painted 2 bathrooms and replaced faucets & countertops at my house this summer. Dependable, very nice and honest. I enjoyed having him at the house and will not hesitate to call him again. I was going to remove the bathroom wallpapers myself but quickly realized it was going to take me several years and the master bath has a ceiling that goes to the roof. He was able to do both bathrooms in a matter of days. He loves animals and my male cat became great friends with him.
Our job went well; we had 3 interior rooms painted and the popcorn ceilings removed and painted.
Will be using James Boros (Boros Design and Construction) in the future. James provided an immediate estimate that was within my planned budget. James repaired the popcorn ceiling by removing the damaged tape and popcorn, re-taped and bed the ceiling & re-applied popcorn in the areas repaired. James did an outstanding and very professional job. He went out of his way to make sure the job met my expectations.
We had our kitchen and quest bathroom ceiling updated by Artistic Estate/ Andy Kontus owner. The popcorn ceiling was removed and Andy applied a new updated texture that accentuated our home , gave value to the rooms, and breathe of fresh air in our 1975's style. He was honest with pricing, design knowledge, and product need. Andy also helped us update our patio area by creating a solid, beautiful wood stained Pergola. This accentuates our outdoor living space. We recommend Andy as a business owner for any of your home updating needs. Thank You Andy!
