Jacquelyne's Dance Lessons

Introduction: I am a dancer who recently went to graduating from Booker T. Washington High School for the performing and visual arts, and I am currently in the process of getting a bachelor's degree in dance from Point Park University, which is one of the top schools in the U.S for dance. I have been dancing since the age of three, with multiple studios around the DFW metroplex, as well as competed in multiple competitions around the U.S. I also have currently worked with children from the ages of 3-17, teaching them different styles in dance. I have trained in all styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, modern as well as trained with Complexions Contemporary Ballet Summer Intensive. I love being able to teach young kids the art of dancing. I think that it is a great way to stay active and in shape for young children as well as kids in their teens. I have choreographed audition pieces for dancers who applied to Booker T. Washington High School for performing and visual arts and were accepted into the program. I have performed in New York multiple times including for the Roberta Flack Tribute Concert at the Joyce Theatre in New York City. I am very passionate about my work, and I would love to be able to share my artistry with the world through the different styles of dance. Not only is this a fun sport, but it also keeps you very active and in shape.
