The only word that comes to mind is excellence!!. Does what he says, shows up when he says, leaves his work area cleaner that he found it. If he can;t solve the problem he will have some one who can solve it in a timely manner. He does both our home and our businesses. When he fixes or installs it is done right or he makes it right with prices you can not beat!

I requested a quote via the Thumbtack on May 27. In less than 15 minutes, I saw the response from Sonny Chambers where he indicated that he wanted to come an give me an estimate. He gave me two different time slots for the next day (May 28). We agreed at 8am and he showed up EXACTLY at 8am. I told him what I needed and he provided a perfect solution based on what I requested. I had received two other quotes but did not mention that to him. His estimate was reasonable and he agreed to come and compete the job at 4pm on the same day. He showed up exactly on time and called me 5 minutes before the job was completed. I went to the job site and he showed me what he has done and walked me through it. I was very happy and he fulfilled exactly what I had told him to do with the price target I had in mind. His price was less expensive by 15% compared to other quotes I had received. i am a real estate investor and the following is my experience with Sonny Chambers and his other Team Members that happens to be his own Family: 1. He was extremely punctual and responsive. 2. He delivered on three key metrics that I always use for evaluating contractors: First is their Availability to get the job done fast. Second is the Price Competitiveness and Third is the Quality of their work. They TRULY exceeded my expectations in every category. We were having issues with our driveway gate getting caught on the catch bracket causing it not to close properly. Ethan made the trip out on Saturday to provide the estimate. He was on-time and provided a good and clear estimate and cost. Austin who did the actual work the following week was on time and professional. Since we bought a home with this pre-existing, he provided good advice and education things to be aware of and what little maintenance would need to be done. He made several repairs to our driveway gate including: Shortening the length of the chain replacing the existing wheels as they were squeaking/grinding due to bad bearings Re-welded and widening the catch bracket so that the gate would not get caught on it during windy days welded a metal bracket onto the leading edge of the gate to protect the wood where it met the catch bracket. Overall we are pleased with the work, look forward to our gate working perfectly for a long time.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into this line of work because I had a garage door company replace some doors for me in 1985 which did a very bad job. After trying top get them to fix it for over 4 months I figured out how to fix it myself. I then decided I could do what they did only Better. So I advertised in the same area as them and provided professional repairs and installation and put them out of business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Garage door and gate repairs is our primary focus altho we do carports and iron work also. We can fix almost any brand of operator be it for a garage door or for a gate.
