Greg has completed three jobs for me: repairs on front porch, fixes on outdoor steps and reconstruction of a door on an outdoor storage shed. I'm very pleased with his work. He is on time, communicates well, is flexible, fair in his pricing and does quality work. He's great at innovating and tailoring the job to my specific needs. I will look to hire Greg again when I need a trustworthy person to do a project and do it well. I feel I can count on Greg.
Tim was prompt in responding and performing the work. I had just one tile to replace on my front porch and Tim did a great job replacing it. Tim was a good communicator and was very professional.
Angel did an excellent job on several different projects for us (repairing damaged hard wood floors; repairing crack in concrete wall in sunroom; hanging extremely heavy medicine cabinet). And he worked on New Years Day to get the job done! He was professional, courteous and punctual. I highly recommend Angel.
I am very pleased with my experience with Earth Concepts. Chase was attentive to what I wanted for my porch and what my budget was and helped me come up with a pergola that would work for my needs. He and his crew arrived when they said they would and completed the work in a very timely fashion. I also loved all the extra work he did for me( power washing my porch) to ensure my new pergola looked fantastic when it was in place.
We hired Jake to install an outdoor porch swing in our Patio. This simple task was made challenging to due to the fact that the beam outside was cladded so there was no way to know what was inside before we cut through the cladding. Jake was very knowledgeable and communicative and walked us through all the options and scenarios. He was very open to our input and listened attentively. He did an excellent job at hanging the swing with minimum cut in the cladding and masterfully cladded it back.
We recently used TUR Demolition & Construction for a back porch addition. We've never been happier with a service, and plan to use them for all our future home remodeling. It's a BBB Insured small family business. And within their family there doesn't seem to be anything they can't do. They did plumbing work, electrician work, custom cabinets, roofing, concrete. From the beginning stages, the communication was great and they were very flexible with me as we imagined what this porch would look like. They ended up delivering an even better product than I had imagined. The project was painless, they were consistent with their time every day and stayed and worked until they were in a good place for the next day. At the end of each day, they tidied up their tools and set them aside to keep the backyard clean. It was so nice working with the same people throughout the process. We've had work done in the past where the GC comes in, negotiates a contact, sends different crews day to day and checks in here and there. With this company you are working with the GC everyday. He's doing the work, alongside his team. I can't say enough about their quality work. You'll just have to give them a call and see for yourself :)
Great all around experience. Easy to work with, made sure everything that we wanted was completed to our satisfaction, and gave us great recommendations based on their experience. The final projects (back screened porch and small front deck) turned out great, even better than we initially hoped for. Would absolutely recommend and use again
We were looking for someone we could trust to help us with some home maintenance. A friend told me about Bud; we called him and he came right over. We still had to remove the original tile in the kitchen. He arranged everything! Within they were removing the old and replacing it with attractive new tile. We wanted to match some tile at the front of the house that was installed a few years before. Not only did they do a great job, but the new tile job was more professionally crafted than the original. We chose a bond pattern where each row is offset by one half tile from the adjacent one. I wish we had known him when we did the first stage. We live in Cedar Creek, Texas.
Greg and his crew came by as scheduled and built an amazing patio cover for my back porch. They anchored it, raised it, roofed, shingled, and cleaned everything up in a single day. Amazing quality, looks great, great price, quickly done, and with an awesome and friendly crew. I can't recommend highly enough.
Dan replaced boards on our front porch & painted front porch. Did an excellent job & was so easy to work with. Great guy! Would recommend to all. We will use him again for carpenter work. Rate him 5 star's. Arlyn & Betty Reemtsma, Round Rock, Texas
After a miserable attempt at installing a flag mount myself, I miraculously found Billy. He responded professionally and super fast and came that evening to install my mount in a stone column on my front porch. I absolutely recommend Billy and wouldn't hesitate to contact him again for any work needed in my home.
Install new light on front porch. Also, install new fan and light on back patio. He was on time and began installations right away. Chris was very polite and friendly. The job was done quickly and neatly. I was very pleased and would recommend him highly.
TCS Renovation and Painting was excellent to work with from the start to the finish of my project. When Freddy came out to see what I was thinking for my project, he was thorough, taking pictures, making notes. He got an estimate to me within a day or so and the office kept in touch with me as I was waiting for financing for my project. It was easy to get a hold of Freddy with questions and the office was responsive to my emails and phone calls as the project was in progress. The builders that built my screened in porch were professional, courteous and easy to talk with. We collaborated on the decisions about details on my porch. I appreciated that they listened to my questions and ideas and offered suggestions but let me take the lead in deciding things like placement of the door, type of screening, etc. The whole process was very collaborative and I am THRILLED with the result. Working with TCS was the best experience I've had working with a contractor on a home improvement project.
I can't rave enough about the work Nick, Steve and Ethan did for us in screening in our porch. It has now completed what was missing from our house and I couldn't be happier. Their attention to detail is something you rarely see these days. Not only was the work they did outstanding, but they are the most genuine guys who care about their customers. They have a life long customer in me. These guys deserve your work, you won't regret it.
Richard Murphy is clean, prompt, efficient and very affordable. Gave me a ballpark estimate on the phone, and when he showed up to make a final estimate, the bid was $100 less than his ballpark. He threw in a couple of other chores I needed done for good measure. The work he did for me: Cleaned exterior brick chimney, front walk, front porch, side brick wall and fence. Caulked skylights over the deck. Repaired and painted two soffetts that had suffered water damage. Checked gutters, but they didn't need cleaning. I'm quite happy with the work he did and have referred him to many friends and neighbors already. Thanks, Richard!
We asked for pricing from several deck builders and selected Livic Construction because of Ryan's, (the owner), presentation, experience, and obvious character. He personally executed the project, and it was flawless, from the initial design, through the final steps to complete the work. Along the way he happily accommodated some changes we made "on the fly" during construction and made several suggestions during both the design and the construction stages that really made sense...and the final result was clearly a better, more functional, deck. Though we initially felt we had comfortably arrived at an overall deck concept that we would have been happy with, Ryan showed us a number of ways to get significantly more "bang for the buck", and with his insight we ended up with a much more pleasing, more functional, and generally higher quality finished project. Overall, our experience with the quality of his workmanship and the nature of his character, leaves me fully willing to unconditionally recommend him to anyone who needs someone to properly build anything for your home or business. If you want someone that you can trust to deliver that rare combination of "old world craftsmanship and quality", you should consider hiring Ryan to build your deck, pergola, fence, hot tub, patio spa, or whatever else you need. You won't be disappointed!
I had a number of issues that needed repair: some siding rot from older Masonite, roof damage from hail, paint on my two story home needed repainting (and re-caulking to protect that Masonite siding from rot), a back door was rotting and had air leakage, front porch (decorative around opening) had been leaking so had rotted out the ceiling of the porch entrance, and all the window framing had rotted. The house is 20 years old. Jeff fixed all of this for a good price with excellent craftsmanship and a beautiful result. Those things (the roof) that he didn't fix himself, he had the best sub for the job. Everything was completed fast and promptly and looked excellent. I highly recommend Jeff and Green Oaks to anyone needing contractor work in and around your home including building something new.
Jenna Trust worked very hard to repair and repaint my front porch. She was very punctual and committed to the project. She did excellent work with a hammer and saw but her real talent and skills are with a paint brush. I have recently seen a large wooden sign that Ms.Trust both designed and painted. I wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Trust for home improvement projects.
Troy was able to fix a large pillar on our front porch that had dropped down. His bid was exceptionally reasonable. We are going to hire him again very soon.
Damon did an absolutely wonderful job on my home remodel. He replaced and installed all the soffit around my home. I live on a pear and beam and he enclosed the entire perimeter installing access doors for the crawl space and enclosing the deck with chicken-wire behind lattice. I looks wonderful. He rebuild my front porch, and repaired the poor work a previous contractor left me with. Damon is also extremely talented and creative with wood working. I asked him to make me a built-in corner boot bench with a hinged lid and his finished installed product was far beyond my expectation! It's beautiful! Damon is punctual, well mannered, polite, a real pleasure to have working at my home. He never left a mess. Catharine, Oakhill If you would like to speak with me, ask Damon for my number, I dont want to post it here. Thank you
We initially contacted Jim in response to an ad for gutter cleaning. During our initial visit, I learned that Steel Horse Constructors does much more than just that. I had been wanting, due to getting older and needing to stay off ladders, to install gutters with leaf guards, but the major brands were cost-prohibitive. Jim showed us a much lower cost alternative gutter screening, but didn't try to hard-sell them. We decided to go with these. Since I was planning to paint the trim on our single-story brick house myself, we had Jim give us an estimate for that as well. We also had some rotted wood around a metal back door, which he inspected, and found that it would cost less to go ahead and replace the entire door and frame. We opted for a new door with the metal blinds sandwiched between double glass panes. We also had two dormers with deteriorating wood trim which needed to be replaced. Jim prepared an estimate which included priming the bare wood (high quality primer), priming the gutters (a different primer needed), removing and replacing the door (turned out that the original builder had botched the installation badly), removing and replacing the dormer trim, painting all trim, fascia, soffits, and gutters (they wound up applying at least two and sometimes three coats of high quality paint) , installing screens on all the gutters, cutting down a large front door and installing new sweeps on both doors. What wasn't anticipated was the extra work and material required to install the back door, which Jim custom fabricated the new frame and molding for. He also custom fabricated the new arched window frames for the dormer windows, even routing them to make them more attractive. Whenever an issue arose, Jim had an answer for it, and he proved to be knowledgeable and adaptable in each instance. Even more to his credit, he and his crew took care of numerous issues we had around the house which weren't even included in the original bid, incorporating then into their work as they went. When they were finished (and they weren't finished until Jim inspected everything to insure it was done to his standards), the original estimate was what we paid; he charges not one cent for all the extra work they had done, unlike many contractors who nickel-and-dime you to death for any extra costs. They cleaned up their job site well, and our house looks better than when new. All told, the work took about 6-7 days. We can't express enough how impressed we are with Jim and his staff; they are hard-working, honest, and perfectionists. We are already planning to use him for other projects in the near future (that is, if we can get him away from the neighbors who have already hired him for their projects. We definitely recommend Steel Horse Constructors - you will be glad you did. Dan Toney
