OM should be renamed OMG because Karie jumped in with very little direction and started unpacking, organizing and setting a strategy for where to put everything and it was all so much better than I would have done. She even brought some of her own organization containers that I could reimburse her for, because she knows what most kitchens need. That was just day 1. She advised built in drawers for our cabinets, containers and hangers....all things to make us super organized. On Day 2, I bought a block of hours because I knew I wanted her expertise with the whole house. She has helped me do research online for furnishings, gone to the paint store with me, and next - Ikea! She helps me so much because she understands our style and our budget and has been a really awesome and fun partner to work with on this nesting process. I don't know how I could juggle this all with my work during the day and make the progress we've made without Karie. She is bad at promoting her own business, because she is so humble, but she loves what she does, so I am posting this all over the web, to spread the good news. Rarely do you find people that tick all of these boxes-- talented, kind, easy to work with, responsive, and disciplined! Thanks Karie!
Allison is a miracle worker! I originally hired her to pack up my entire kitchen, and then unpack it at my new house. The service she provided was above and beyond what I originally anticipated. She packed my entire kitchen in 2 hours. Then utilized her personal vehicle to move the items over to my new house. THEN she unpacked my items and organized them beautifully. She brought a ton of kitchen-type organization materials (bins, labels, baskets, etc.) to utilize in my home IF I wanted them. Based on the needs of my new kitchen, she sold the agreed upon materials to me at a very discounted price. This was such an INCREDIBLE service. It was like having a HomeGoods in the trunk of her car. She also made a target run to get other things we agreed were necessary to get my kitchen in tip top shape. Overall, I paid her for 10 hours of work plus the cost of goods. Absolutely worth every penny. At the beginning she asked me what my budget was, which I thought was great. I didn't have a firm number in mind for this project but I thought it was wonderful that she was willing to build the plan around my budget if necessary. I would absolutely recommend Allison to anyone for packing, unpacking, and organization. She is kind, honest, talented, and fun to be around. I cannot overstate how much I appreciate what she did for me the past two days.
Troy and his team have been working non-stop the last week and are continuing to drive toward completion on renovations to a rental property we are working to get on the market. Very professional crew that definitely pays attention to detail to ensure a quality product is presented to his customers. Abby has been awesome. We have had her over twice to organize a large house, and there is still much yet to be done (she is efficient, we just have lots of clutter, so we will probably need her for one or two more days at least). Our kitchen and nursery look much better now. As for Abby: I was hesitant at first about hiring her because I couldn’t find much online about her business. But she was definitely worth hiring. She is good at what she does. She is friendly also, and easy to talk to if you want to talk to her while she is there. Also, the pictures on her website are actually her. Also, today she found $100 when she was organizing our nursery. I was not in there at that moment. She could have pocketed the money and I would have never known it was missing. Instead, she brought the money out to me. That was very honest of her, and I will likely be recommending her to friends in the future based on her personality and skills. As for cost - professional organizers charge a good amount for their hourly rate, but the feeling of less stress and less clutter in my house is worth every penny to me. I feel like Abby is worth every penny of what she charges.
Our family couldn't survive without Leslie! We have worked with her on and off since 2012 when she helped us downsize and get ready for a move. Of course she helped us unpack and took our garage from looking like a storage unit to a space holding 2 cars and very little else. She always has great suggestions and will do about anything to get you organized including take stuff to Goodwill for you! She has worked for my daughter and the daughter of a friend. EVERYONE has the same experience - she makes organizing FUN and EASY and works with you on your own terms and preferences. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
