Ive been attending Joshes classes for almost 2 years now and hes always been friendly and motivating. He brings an appropriate level of energy thats very contagious and motivating. Ive noticed over my visits that Josh takes the time to learn every members name and greet them as they enter, he quick to asses peoples level of fitness and will adjust the work outs so everyone stays with the class and completes it. As you leaving he always gives a good job today and when are you coming back? Its clear after just one session with Josh, that this is not just a job for him, Its his passion. I had the opportunity of working with Pree through LA Fitness at the Round Rock location. I am fitness enthusiast and extremely happy to have found a trainer who shared a similar level passion. He continuously provided me with workouts that were challenging and he has a good eye for finding musclar imbalances and strengthening accordingly to achieve balance so I prevent common injuries accrued from weight-lifting. Pree is high knowledgeable and I really enjoyed my conversations with him about different styles of training including HIIT, endurance training, and cross training. The part that I really enjoyed was when Pree introduced me to Yoga and made me realize the amount of strength I was holding myself back on from my tight hip flexors and overall strength from tight muscles. In the yoga part of our training, he provided great cues to help maximize the benefit of every pose and has a great feel for my capability and pushes me accordingly so I improve consistently without hurting myself. This was a huge plus in my book because I am always pushing my limits and more often than not end up hurting myself. He painted a whole new picture of overall fitness in my mind and I am throughly happy to have met this guy.
Jennifer is amazing. She walked me through every exercise, broke them down and demonstrated and participated in each repetition. Her encouragement got me through an intense multi-month program resulting in 20% body weight loss in a healthy, structured way. Carl is a fabulous trainer! He pushes you in those last 5 minutes when you need it most. Even if he’s training someone else and you happen to be in the gym and have a question he’s always super helpful and willing to answer any questions day or night.
There are two things that are crucial for me to find in a trainer. I want someone who will push me to get results while at the same time making the workouts enjoyable enough to stay with it. David does both! David is serious about the workouts. He customizes the exercises for the individual and increases intensity as strength increases. He is careful to prevent injuries while pushing to get the most out of you. All along hes helping the hour pass with his light-hearted attitude and great sense of humor. I started with David a year ago in April. We exercise twice a week and since beginning with him I have seen a noticeable improvement in my strength, agility, and measurements. I couldnt recommend David more!
Went to one of Nicks bootcamps today and I am not only sore, but impressed. Not only did I get to work out in a fun fast pase group setting I also was able to recieve one on one help. The workout had a great flow to it with a build up and break down, I was also coached to reach a degree of intensity that I have not been able to get by working out alone. Great experience!!

My passion is running. In early 2016 I decided to train for 5k, 10k, and even half marathon races. I used to run a 30+ minute 5k. I sought out the help of CJ and Erin and they provided me with a workout strategy including running, sprint intervals, and weight training geared to strengthen runners. They also provided me with nutrition knowledge to help fuel me and give me the proper energy I need for this type of training. After taking their training tips for about six months, I can now run a 22:30 5K and a 1:48:00 half marathon. I am excited to work with ThriveOn in 2017 as they can help me reach my 1:30:00 half marathon goal and 3:45:00 marathon goal for the NYC Marathon. They are both highly educated individuals who are dedicated to helping others reach their personal fitness goals. I have been working with Rachel for about two months now, and I am so happy with her services! Rachels program consists of a variety of different exercises. She combines methods of strength training, cardio, and circuit training. Each workout is different so I dont get bored, and I feel like there is no chance of hitting a plateau since we mix things up. She even designs at home workout programs for you to do on your own between sessions, and offers diet advice by monitoring your calorie journal. She makes her workouts challenging, but does not push me past what I am physically capable of. She is an expert on form and makes sure the exercises are done properly to avoid injury. During the first month with Rachel, I lost 5 pounds and a total of 5-1/2. I feel myself getting stronger with each workout, and that is very motivating. I have gone from not being able to do any push-ups at all, to a solid 20. My old wedding band fits again for the first time in over a year. And, as I was walking through the park the other day, I noticed some younger guys do a double take as I walked past! In addition to looking and feeling better, my self esteem has gone up and I feel more confident. Ive noticed that I put more effort into my appearance through make up and wearing clothes that are more form fitting. Rachel has transformed me from someone who used to hate looking in the mirror or taking photos, to someone who feels attractive again. I could not be happier!
Steve's a great trainer. He motivates me and knows exactly how hard to push me. What I like best about his style of training is that he explains why certain workouts work and what part of the body are affected. I'm grateful he's my trainer. Highly recommended.
I can't say enough good things about Mark Rogers and Austin Simply Fit! It is a great private gym with a personal flare where Mark has managed to create an energetic, fun and positive environment. He and his staff are very knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient. They explain each exercise thoroughly, with an emphasis on correct form to maximize results and prevent injuries. Mark developed a specialized program for me and while he doesn't let me slack off, he never pushes me past my abilities. I always feel like I got an incredible work out, after which I have energy, stamina, and a positive outlook! But the most important thing to me is the personal attention the trainers give and knowing that they always having your best interest at heart. Bottom line, this place rocks...whether you are big, little, young, old, never worked out before or training for an intense goal...it really doesn't matter...you can find results here. Enough gushing: I highly recommend Austin Simply Fit to anyone, of any fitness level. It will change your life and give you results. Check it out!
About the time I turned 50 I realized my boot camp workout were over, so on the recommendation of a friend, I sought out Carole. The minute I saw her smiling face, I could feel the her positive energy. I didn't know what she could do for me, but I just had to do it! Over the course of our sessions, Carole was able to zero in on my kinks and prescribe exercises that targeted problem areas while understanding that as we get older, some of us need to exercise more efficiently. More weights, stretching and a little lower intensity really helped me immensely. Carole is constantly pursuing knowledge and experience in new areas of health and fitness to bolster her already commanding knowledge. Plus, she has a philosophy that encompasses both Eastern and Western approaches to health. Her impressive background in mixed martial arts and body building are always present so if you want to go for it, she will take you there! If you just want to focus on restorative techniques and yoga, she can help you with that, too. She's extremely flexible from session to session, depending on what your body is saying that day. I can't express enough how much I enjoy training with Carole and how much she has helped me. I highly recommend her.
Loren is a truly excellent trainer. I admit I am not the easiest client because of my demanding work schedule and more importantly, my lack of motivation to work out. This is not a problem for Loren. She makes the experience convenient, effective, and very rewarding! She tailors a fast-paced and entertaining workout specific to my fitness level - all within an hours time at my community gym. I highly recommend her to other professionals who are short on time and want a quick, full-body workout.
What can I say about Tim. He's punctual, personable, fun to work with, and he gets results. I wanted to clean up my act so I looked good for a 30 year high school reunion. I started seeing Tim 4 months prior to the event, 3 days a week. He did a great job of mixing up the workouts, even though we were only working out in an apartment gym. I had never used TRX products before and he showed me a whole new way of working out (my core muscles have never been stronger). He always amazed me with his little blue bag. It seemed like every workout, he was pulling another rabbit out of his hat with all the different gear he had in that thing. We closed things out with a couple of sessions on the football field at City College where he brought out the "ropes" and a speed ladder. Man, what a workout! Talk about high intensity. Before I went to the reunion, I had to get my pants hemmed as my waist had come down a couple of inches and they were falling off of me. Of course, the ultimate compliment was going to the reunion and having people say "Lou, is that you?". I can't recommend him enough.
Zoe is incredible! I could never do Barre. I had tried various studios and they were all so boring! Enter Zoe's "Barre Burn" class - it is challenging, awesome and such fun! Zoe encompasses all the traits of a perfect and top tier fitness instructor - she makes the class stimulating and engaging and she brings an upbeat, positive and amazingly youthful energy to any class she instructs. Her music is top-notch, and she pays close attention to your form, so you're feeling that great muscle burn in all the right places. She ends her class with a yoga type appreciation/gratitude exercise, and I walk out of Zoe's classes feeling like I am floating on CLOUD 9. She just has that effect. I have also taken several private fitness and ballet classes with Zoe and she exudes vibrance, professionalism, high energy and fitness knowledge. She is very attuned to my needs and problem areas in my body/ technique difficulties. An overall amazing instructor for both group and private classes!
Koko's "Can Conquer All" attitude is infectious. Every time that I've trained with her has been positive and intense. I leave out feeling tired yet super accomplished
Everyone at eight count is very helpful. Herb and his staff make you feel welcome, its a family atmosphere and essentially a 1 on 1 workout every time. The workouts are noted on the daily grind board and easy to follow. the cleanest boxing Gym I have ever visited.
I do a lot of my workouts at home, and I asked Jentri for some help with diversifying my routines. She's been super helpful -- offers fun challenging moves; suggests intensity variations for different exercises; and explains the why as well as the how. At my first visit, my lower back felt very tense. After trying out some recommended workouts and posture advice, I feel much less lower-back tension overall.
I started training with Charles 6 weeks ago at his morning boot camp class. I needed a serious butt kicking in my workouts, and I found out with Charles, ask and you shall receive. Over the past few weeks I've seen more results and changes in my body than I ever did with my normal gym routine. I've learned about high interval training and how to fuel my body with the right foods to help support my brutal workouts. more importantly he ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries, and I'm still working on my power cling! For some reason that's a hard move for me. I thoroughly enjoy working out with Charles and would recommend him to anyone for any fitness level. Even kids to!!
