- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?All the time! There are new developments in the flooring industry everyday. Some are noteworthy and some will never materialize. I need to know these things and be prepared for my customers sake. The areas that have seen the most changes are in the Water Damage Mitigation (dry-out) and Restoration industry. This is becoming more and more an exact science everyday.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Carpet Cleaning, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Dryer Vent/Duct Cleaning and Water Damage Dry-out and Restoration.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?A customer called saying their home was flooded from a broken toilet. We arrived at the house in less than an hour. The homeowner was distraught to say the least. She was ill, on oxygen and the area's affected included her bedroom, bathroom, living room, several closets and another bedroom. We had the complete structure dried out and the complete restoration finished in 2 weeks. This included new insulation in the walls, drywall, paint, new carpet and new wood floor. We rushed the job because of her health. Even the adjuster for the insurance company said what we did was unheard of because we did it all before the customer even received her insurance check and the customer didn't pay us a dime until she received her check. Sometimes you just have to believe in the honesty of people and do the right thing.
