Got some great dog training tips and training, which is what I paid for, but also got additional great nutritional and health info. Will definitely use this trainer again.
We picked up our 8-month pit/lab mix today following a two-week "board and train" at K9 Kountry. All I can say is "Wow!" She is still her sweet, loving self but responds to us, and others, in a completely different way. Butch went above and beyond to correct her social anxiety, taking her on shopping excursions to Home Depot and Petco. He also socialized her with other dogs and taught basic commands like sit, stay, etc. All of this was accomplished over a holiday season (I don't think he ever takes a day off) and cold, soggy weather conditions. When we arrived to pick her up, Butch spent an hour with my 5-year-old son and I instructing us how to use the commands and reinforce the training he instilled in her. It was like unlocking a secret language but one that is simple to grasp thanks to his teaching technique. Simply put, we are thrilled with the results. I highly recommend K9 Kountry to anyone looking for a professional yet compassionate dog expert.
I hired Maury and WeTrainDogs for a two week board and train program for my two six month old vizsla pups. I knew training two dogs with different personalities would be difficult, but I was truly impressed with the progress after the two week session. Both dogs walked in a heel position without pull and stopping throughout the walk. Both pups would go to their "stay beds" and not move until released. I wasn't expecting this level of progress after only two weeks. I am looking forward to the in home private training sessions that are in included in the board and train program. I am confident that their training with Maury will give me two well trained, well behaved, and enjoyable additions to my family.
Lynette did a wonderful job training a dog we had rescued. She was very professional and cares about what she does! I would highly recommend Lynette and Happy Pets!!!
Nancy is great! Today we had our first session with my blue heeler ChelseaBlue. Chelsea has anxiety and Nancy was very informative and talked me through Chels' training session. She goes through everything exactly how it's done and makes sure you understand everything. We've already schedule upcoming revisits and I'm very happy I chose Nancy to work with. I already have seen improvement with Chels' behavior.
I would recommend Zoom Room to anyone. Heather is a great trainer and is so encouraging, especially if you have a "hard to handle" dog. The training is a lot of fun and good exercise, as well. Lisa W.
We've only had a couple of sessions with Stephanie and our two French Bulldogs but we already know she was a great choice for our dog training needs. First of all - she loves what she does and it shows in her work. Stephanie is also very responsive to the behaviors that we want to change in our dogs, and is able to make the training fun. Additionally, my wife and I have busy schedules, and Stephanie is very flexible to finding training times that work for us. I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone considering training for their dogs.
Wanda was wonderful with my 2 year old previously neglected foster dog and was able to teach me some very simple techniques to start training him. After one session there was already a marked difference in his behavior. I am no longer as stressed on the what or how to train him. She is prepared with treats and how to start. And she emailed me further instructions on how to work with him until our next session. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. Before her help, he was too antsy to pay attention, and I had no way to reach him. Now he makes eye contact and enjoys our training sessions.
Pamela is a truly wonderful dog trainer. We just completed our fourth session last week and, in just two weeks, my dog is already calmer and more well-behaved. She really gives you the confidence you need to make the training successful. Perhaps the best gift, though, is that in training with Pamela, I feel much closer to my dog. Both him and me couldn't recommend her more!
She was very caring and loving with my puppy, I was comfortable letting him go with her the first time we met Tammy. My puppy learned a lot in the short time he was with her. I will continue training with tammy.
We met with Tena for an in home eval and plan for training our Maltipoo Samson. She is great! We are looking forward to working with her as we train our pup!
Over the last year, I have been fortunate to have Hilton Butler from K-9 Bootcamp train my puppy so he could become a therapy dog. From the first encounter with the Butler family I knew my dog would be in good hands. They understood the purpose of his training and knew what he would have to learn in order to become a therapy dog for kids with special needs. I was greatly relieved to know that my dog would be staying in their house with their children. This meant a lot to me since my dog spent 6 weeks being trained. To know that he would not be neglected in a kennel on a large property was a huge relief. Auggie was immediately welcomed by all family members and was treated like one of their own pets. He was in loving hands from the moment he walked in the door. I felt that Hilton was able to apply various protocols to meet my dogs needs due to his extensive background with K-9 training in the military, police, and service dog environments. Hilton demonstrates a firm hand while training, but uses positive reinforcement as well, which was needed for my dog. He ensures that you know the protocols to carry over in the home environment after training is complete. If there was any question regarding Auggies behaviors at home, Hilton was available by email, phone, and even conducted follow up sessions at my house. K-9 Boot Camp is a professional and loving dog training facility. They excel in providing individual treatment to meet your specific training goals. Customer service and compassion for their work shines through. Hilton, took time on a Sunday in November to drive all the way to Auggies therapy test for moral support. Auggie passed with flying colors and now comes to work everyday as a certified therapy dog. He is happy in his new role making sure all kids have a smile on their face while receiving therapy! We could not have done it with out Hilton.
My dog Bruno is a young rowdy pup, very smart but also very strong willed. After attempting to watch You Tube videos and train him myself, it seemed like I was getting nowhere. I was at my wits end and discouraged. I needed serious help! I brought my Bruno to Canine perceptions after reading good reviews elsewhere and needing help with his behaviors. He went through the 6 week off leash program and graduated yesterday. 1st, I'm very happy to have him home for Christmas but the change is so noticeable! I knew he would be super excited to be home and expected bad behaviors once he left. Only one day, but the change is extreme. The Staff of Canine perceptions returned my baby not only well cared for, but well mannered! The training they gave me put everything into perspective and gave me the understanding I needed to continue Bruno's training. I could not begin to explain how grateful I am to them.
Liz was great with us! She taught my husband and me how to use clicker training with our dogs. She arrived promptly and was professional and courteous. She explained what she did as she was doing it and helped us understand how to continue with them.
Brandon did a great job training my dog, Tobias. He took the time and was patient with my boxer/lab mix. Tobias had a large problem with obeying my commands in public with distractions. He now is able to focus on me! I just need to keep up all the hard work Brandon put in! Thank you Brandon for everything!
Wendy is very pleasant, and provides hands on, practical training for our new pooch. She works with us weekly, then gives homework assignments, spelling out in great detail how we are supposed to train Harper (the pooch in question) and the desired outcome. She also taught us that training is not a one and done event, and her incremental approach has been very effective.
Mallory has taken care of my dog for over a year now whenever needed. She also spent some time training my dog. Mallory is very dependable and reliable, and great with my dog.
Our Family took Toby for training with Lisa, she is really good with the pets and taught us a lot, Toby learned quick the different commands. The whole family went to the trainings and Lisa was always giving us tips and giving us advice. Would highly recommend Lisa. Everytime we went to the training Toby will get so excited and would rush to the training room so I guess he really enjoyed it and like Lisa.
