Introduction: Experience and diverse mentors along with a scientific based understanding of how animals learn and humane methods that work. I began training dogs in obedience at the age of 8 under my parents local kennel club. I have trained dogs for competition, therapy and service work, and currently train my own dogs for various scent detection jobs. I am also the K9 training coordinator for the Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State and have been training dogs for over 40 years. I love dogs. I love working with dogs. I enjoy assisting a handler to engage their dog, reach their training goals and in doing so, build and solidify a great working bond.

First consultation $100 (1.5 Hr) One hour lesson $75
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first appointment we meet and assessment the dog behaviorally as well as discuss problems and desired behaviors. We map out a set of goals and a training plan to achieve those goals. I typically will also assign some "homework" to start the team on its way to the next meeting/ first lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Brush up lessons can be booked whenever a client feels the need!
