FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every new client is unique. I almost always offer different solutions and explain the pros and cons of doing the jobs in certain ways. But always advice to follow the code so that there won’t be any issues with inspectors.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Fresh out of high school, a buddy of mines recommended me. Started, and never stopped since then. Take pride in my work and pride in my trade.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Last year I completed a remodel off Main st in downtown. Although the builder already had electricians out there to do the re-wire. The entire house was wired to the point it would’ve never passed inspection with Houston inspectors. It was not wired to code. I ended up having to re-wire the entire house and re-do panel and install correct breakers. Mind you the house was already sheetrocked, painted, and had its cabinets installed along tile. But I enjoyed doing it and wasn’t scared to take on the project. Most electricians would’ve never picked up this job due to the fact other electricians already had their hands involved. The house passed inspection on first try, electrical side, and a month later went up for sale and sold in 3 days.
