Kimberly R.

Interior Design

"I loved working with Al and would highly recommend anyone looking for an interior designer who brings creativity but designs something that fits YOU and your style. I had a budget and I had my own ideas and opinions about what I wanted. Many designers blow the budget and force you into styles that don't fit your personality. Not Al, he knew where to push and where to evolve his own creativity to fit my style and taste. He stayed within budget. I LOVE my regal bedroom. I highly recommend Al."

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is very flexible. Interior design consultations are $250 flat fee for our first visit. I will waive the $250 only for clients who are starting their projects I will work with your budget but there must be a realistic budget that meets the demands of the project.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First Step: First day : Meet and Greet This where we discuss your budget + needs and wants in the design project. I take photos and measure the space to be able to rework the space is necessary. If the client is ready to move forward on this day I will prepare a contract and we begin with scheduling the payment of fees and the project begins to move forward. Next step : Meet again to view selections I've gathered for you and discuss moving forward with contractors to discuss contracts and terms of project. Next step: Schedule a demolition day to begin first process of the design implementation. Next step : Meet as needed to discuss anything needed for the design. Talk about and address any hiccups or errors that may need fixing during the design process. Next Step : Finish details and enjoy your awesome and brag to all your friends about how much you love your new spaces.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

ALUMNI The Art Institutes of Houston - Interior Design
