I am two sessions in and I really could not be happier. He is teaching not only how to play but why which is incredibly important, especially if I hope to be continue once I am no longer taking lessons. Easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, very impressive with a guitar, and very casual (no pressure). He answers questions and takes an interest in you. I definitely recommend Vaughn!

Eric is an amazing teacher as well as guitar player,he doesn't just teach technique but the reason for the particular lesson, I never expected to learn as much as I did with the first lesson. I have already reserved my time slot for the foreseeable future, under Eric's tutelage I know I am going to be a guitarist. The cost of his lessons pale in relation to the amount of quality instruction and noticeable improvement he delivers

Swimming has been a fun activity I always wanted to do but I felt very uncomfortable any time I was near a pool. This summer, however, learning how to swim was on top of my priority list and Thomas was there to change my perspective I see the water. From the very first lesson, the focus was on the mechanics and strength building. He can really focus on you and determine what skill you need to build and in what order. With only two swimming lessons completed, I already feel the confidence and the motivation to continue. Thomas demonstrates safe and very effective teaching techniques that are very easy to grasp and follow. As a beginner of any sort of swimming, I perceive Thomas to be an outstanding swimming instructor and a fine professional to work with. I always have fun learning and practicing in the pool, and I highly recommend anyone to take his classes regardless of swimming level. Pano Dimos

This experience has been phenomenal. He's so knowledgeable and has an exceptional read on people. He was able to tell me where all of my problem areas were during just my first lesson. He's not afraid to put himself in the hot seat, so to speak, and show you exactly what he wants from you. He's likable and even though I was nervous as could be, he always made me feel comfortable. If you put in the work, he's a tremendous benefit. I've seen growth and have gained a lot of confidence in myself. He's very affordable and willing to work with your schedule. I'd say give him a try...you won't be disappointed. I definitely look forward to continued lessons.

I absolutely love my self defense classes with Ken! What i find most helpful is that Ken's lessons are very personalized. I am a petite woman and Ken teaches me how to use my size to my advantage. I went to about a dozen gyms all over Houston (MMA/Krav Maga/Jiu Jitsu/etc) and Ken is the only person that could offer me everything that i needed/wanted. (1) He works around my crazy schedule (2) Personalized training that is AFFORDABLE (3) Preparing me not just physically, but also mentally (4) Providing me personalized techniques - example: there is a technique he showed me to free yourself from someone that is choking you, unfortunately my arms just wouldn't reach. He realized this almost immediately and changed the technique right then and there. Within 5 minutes we had a modified move and i was breaking choke holds. (5) Real world application - example: he teaches body language, so you can better assess when an attack is coming. I told him a get nervous walking to my car, he taught me how to use my keys as a weapon! How to defend myself in a small area (like if someone comes up to me in between 2 cars). (6) Gets you out of your comfort zone - I have never hit a person and didn't realize how uncomfortable it would be to do so. I felt silly and weak throwing a punch. Literally by the second class all of those feelings were gone. I've only been training for about a month and my punches are awesome! You can literally see the strength i've gained in such a short amount of time. I feel like this post is getting long, but seriously i cannot stress how great these lessons are. I genuinely think anyone would benefit from these lessons. Its not only a great work out (you will be sore) but its also a great confidence booster. I feel so much safer just doing things that would normally have me worried (ex: walking to my car at night when i work late/late night runs to the grocery store). If you are serious about self defense, take his classes. He operates out of a gym that has great people, great environment, and everything you need to train.

I had a 45 minute piano lesson with Ryan. He was extremely professional and also made me feel very comfortable asking questions. He had a very easy manner and did not intimidate me. I will definitely have more lessons with him and recommend him to my friends as well. FANTASTIC!!

Ben really listens to what I want to achieve with vocal lessons, and he was very open to helping me eve though I had never had a vocal lesson before. He has the improvement of his students' voices as a priority and worked with me to get the maximum out of my lessons on a limited graduate student budget. He's been a great teacher and my voice has definitely improved!

Dealing with these two young ladies has been a pleasure so far. Rachael came to our house for my 8 years old's 1st ever piano lesson. She was very patient and really related to him very well. After she left, I asked him how he liked the lesson and he said he really liked it and especially liked Rachael. He's been practicing since she left. Looking forward to more lessons and watching our son progress on the piano.

Jeff has been giving my 3 kids music lessons for the last 5 years. My 18 year old became an accomplished drummer under Jeff's instruction. Because of his varied talents, Jeff has been able to accommodate my 13 year old's wandering interests.(so far we've covered the bass, guitar and drums ;-) 0 My daughter, who is 9 has been taking lessons from Jeff since she was 6 and I'm always amazed by what she plays at home. Jeff is great with kids and adults alike and I would highly recommend him to anyone with a desire to learn an instrument!

Deborah is amazingly talented and patient, and her knowledge base is impressive. My daughter really enjoyed her lessons with her. Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen circumstances, we have had to discontinue our lessons, but appreciate the few we were able to have.

I shopped around with private schools and teachers and Ed White offers the best deal for lessons by far in the houston area! I had lots of anxiety and fear going into lessons! After just two lessons, I now am eager to go back because Ed makes the leaning process less intimidating by going at my pace not his. He patiently takes the time watch for my errors and corrects me constructively. I strongly recommend his lessons to anyone in the Houston area who is on a budget and ready to learn!

After going through many music-related instructors for quality assurance, I believe that Mr.Corb has done nothing but exceeded my expectations in terms of teaching the many theoretical and musical components the guitar. One great aspect of Mr. Corb is that he has patience. Often times, many private teachers in my previous experience have been quite impatient with my inability to meet their standards, and have resulted in frustration and disinterest in continuing to play. Mr. Corb has been extremely patient with me, despite how many times I have played horribly. I was honestly satisfied with the way he conducted his lessons. I would tune before we would start the lesson, and there was a variation with what we did. He taught me scales, improv with the scales, bar chords, theoretical aspect of the keys, song that I requested, and so forth. Overall, I've had a great experience with Mr. Corb. If not for my busy schedule, I would've loved to further my education on the guitar.

David is an excellent instructor. I am an adult who took lessons as a kid and really wanted to desicate myself this time. I had a but of a music theory background but specifically asked David to help me with the basics of te instrument. David has delivered! He is knowledgeable and helps connect the dots. I would highly recommend him.

Mr. Corb has years of experience performing & teaching...& conveniently came to my home. He was kind, patient, & focused while introducing my beginners (aged 6 & 9) to the piano. They both enjoyed their lesson & I was impressed to see the progress made in only 30 minutes. We look forward to continuing lessons with Mr. Corb.

I have had the privilege of having Cheryl as my Chinese tutor and I would give her the highest rating possible. She is an exceptionally gifted teacher who is very knowledgeable about the Chinese language as well as the Chinese culture. Being an older student, I do not have the ability to learn the language as quickly my younger fellow students but she was very understanding of this. Indeed she was God sent because she was able to strike a fine balance between being challenging and being patient. I highly recommend her for anyone starting Chinese lessons because her musical background allows her to hear if you are using the right tones in this tonal language. This is very critical in building a good foundation for Mandarin. Lastly, I want to mention that learning Mandarin is not easy but her enthusiasm and constant encouragement is a blessing!
