I have been training with Isreal for 6 months and I can most definitely say that I'm more than satisfied with the results. The Intense training has changed my body but more importantly my life. I'm definitely more active than I have ever been. I have gained knowledge, confidence and strength throughout the journey. Isreal was the stepping stone I needed to adapt to this new lifestyle. From training sessions from the park to the gym I have realized there are no excuses. I would most definitely recommend Isreal to anyone who not only wants to lose weight but change their life.

I did my very first Reki healing with JoAnne and it was so AMAZING! She was able to clarify many things in my life and also tell me about myself on a spiritual level. She was more than just a healer but became more of my guidance and friend. She is very great at what she does and knowledgable as well. She leaves the door open for any questions you may have or even conversation within her field. I am so glad that I was able to meet her and link up with such an GREAT being! I will definitely keep going to her for her services as well as communicate with her loving soul! Thank you so much.

My experience with Caveman Fitness was beyond outstanding. I was given engaging , challenging workouts that catered to what I wanted to improve in. My trainer , Akshay Raju , broke down everything to a science which helped me understand the function of the workouts while also exhibiting his expertise in exercise science. I've seen Caveman Fitness cater to all types of clients, from young collegiate athletes to older clients in their 60's. This company offers smart, functional, and personalized training at an affordable cost. I would recommend Caveman Fitness to anyone who wants to maximize their body's potential.

I have been training with Josh since early September. In just these past 5 months, I have seen my body change tremendously. Josh is a trainer that provides expertise, motivation, and flexibility. When it comes to health and fitness, this guy knows his stuff! I had sciatic nerve problems in my back and hamstrings when we first started training, now I am more flexible than ever. Josh has also changed my eating habits that leaves me healthier, stronger, and more energized. Not only is he excellent int he gym, but also with managing training schedules. His communication skills and organization has been monumental in setting up my training, due to my hectic schedule. Whether you are a stay at home mom, athlete, retired, or just anyone who wants to have a lifestyle of health and wealth, I definitely recommend Josh!

I met Esteban on IG. I was inspired by his hard work & his training. I reached out to him because I wasn't happy with my results from nutrition & the gym. I didn't have no direction. We ended up meeting at Blast gym here in San Antonio & boy oh boy was I in for a surprise. He pushed me & I definitely felt the burn. I loved it. We got done, sat down, talked about budget, a nutrition plan, my goals and workouts. I was immediately sold. His training is amazing!!! I've received amazing results & I'm very happy with him as my trainer. I remember I went out one night & I was getting so many compliments on how toned and lean I looked. I even got a compliment if I was a personal trainer. I texted Esteban real fast and couldn't thank him enough. Even though he's moved to Houston, I'm continuing with his training. I'm doing it online but I wish I had that one on one push. The push to tell me to "do two more sets, last set but to hold it (unexpectedly) or that I can do 5 more. How bad do I want it?" I highly recommend him as your trainer.

Chris has been amazing and very knowledgeable when it comes to fitness. His approach to fitness as quality of life has been eye-opening to me. His initial consultation structure is very well-done and he is open to guiding you as to what is achievable and what is not. As to his style of training, Chris is a very approachable and kind (at times hilarious) person. He is not super hardcore in your face; he is really there to motivate you in a sustainable way. He truly cares about his clients and he has shown great respect for me and my family. I also love how he has a humorous side to him. He is without a doubt one of the best coaches/trainers I have had and I recommend him a thousand times over. I have been working out with him for over two months and have not looked back.

I just wanted a new resume and ended up with years of life coaching. Tony and I still joke to this day about how we started. I asked for a resume and he delivered. We are going on 3 years now and I have continued to use his life and work coaching services. Tony has been fantastic and he works with a great group of coaches. In fact, I have worked with his other coaches on special sessions to help with specific issues. Tony and his team bring a different value because they can help with the complete person and not just one aspect. I have come to really value that engagement and his dedication.

I had 3 health and wellness coaches before and got good results changing my lifestyle and improving my nutrition, but when after hiring Ariel I understood that I still have a way to go. This coach brings the most advanced researches, he's a listener and in the same time a pusher towards the right way. If you don't want to work hard to get the results with a pro, this is not a good match for you. But if you are willing to learn how not to make mistakes when it comes to your health, don't think twice: this is the guy.!! Thank you Ariel for changing my life!!

First the backstory. I'm 62, never worked out except on the golf course; left knee now failing; 280+ pounds, and now at the point of having trouble getting in/out of the car, up and down off the commode. You get the picture. It was now or never. My first lesson: simple balance and step-ups (one foot), and a little squat. I told Greg, "that's not happening." He said, "trust me, a little bit at a time". Low and behold, I was able to do it. It was a miracle. Little by little, week by week, I improved. (Yup, that's me in the picture lifting 140 pounds, 10x for 3 sets.) Moved to weights. Increased the weight. My knee? It felt better when I left the gym than when I went in! In 6 short weeks I was moving much better, in 12 weeks I felt younger - really, no kidding. I could not have done this without Greg's expertise and support. Seriously. He explained everything in great detail. The techniques. Breathing. How to concentrate. Greg is not some monster-type lifter (okay, he does a pretty damn impressive squat), his style and approach are systematic yet tailored to your own rhythms and capabilities. I checked all the boxes because he truly does all of these things. Greg asked me to write a review, and it's the least I could do given that he as restored my mobility, and convinced me that even at 62 I can become stronger, and, yes, build that six pack. At 62. I have a more to do of course (can't fix in 3 months what took 30 years to do). Look, do it. It takes 60-90 minutes, and do it 3x per week. 4 1/2 hours. And you get your mobility and balance back and restore your strength. In my mind - and I think for people like me - Greg is the best. For those of you who are in your "prime", definitely do it. Oh, one last thing...If you are a lifter, you won't find a better, technically qualified, coach than Greg, I've watched him. And, IMO, you won't find a nicer person either.

John Carney was a great source of 'reason' for me in a time of chaos. He helped me to see beyond the fray, and focus on real-life issues. John brings a unique perspective that quickly differentiates undesirable symptoms from the root of the issue. I like to hit things head-on, and not waste time on incidentals. That's what John helped me to do! Can't say "THANK YOU" enough!

I honestly could not have asked for a better trainer and training experience. Jerrick is awesome and I recommend him to anyone who is ready to really start a healthier. lifestyle. Once you tell him your fitness goals and your target areas you want to lose or gain weight in, he puts together a work out and meal plan specifically for you. I’ve never felt more confident and motivated.

      About

What I practice is concierge integrative medicine which involves the integration of nutritional medicine and holistic health coaching with concierge primary care medicine. Nutritional medicine, which involves the use of dietary modification strategies and nutraceutical supplements to decrease chronic disease and reduce pharmaceutical use. Holistic health coaching is based on my health manual, "The Algorithm of Six", which involves addressing the six common drivers of chronic disease which include: nutrition (most important, ranging from micronutrient deficiences to food toxicities, allergies, and intolerances) exercise (usually the lack of it, along with prolonged inactivity) sleep (typically insomnia or sleep apnea) stress management (inability to manage stress and/or self-destructive ways of managing stress) isolation (social, familial, spiritual) environmental toxicities (air,, water, food, home, workplace) To the degree all these factors are corrected, the body will fix itself and reduce or eliminate chronic disease.

      Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

      What is a health coach?

A health coach is a service provider you can hire to help you realize your wellness goals. You can hire a health and wellness coach to guide you through life changes, keep you focused on weight loss or fitness goals, help boost your mental health, and more. Many health coaches work with their clients for set periods of time as the client moves toward a measurable goal. Wellness coaches come from varying backgrounds, and may have different areas of focus depending on their education and training. Research potential coaches by reading their reviews, researching their academic and personal backgrounds, and learning about any certifications they have earned from coaching institutes. Often, health and wellness coaches sell coaching packages ranging from three to six months or longer, depending on the client’s needs. The average national cost for an individual health coach session ranges from $60 to $90, although prices may range as low as $30 or up to $130 or more, depending on your location and the coach.

      What is a life coach?

A professional, accredited life coach works with people to help them make important changes in their life, either growing in their profession or changing gears in their personal lives. They help clients turn their dreams or wishes into realistic, attainable goals. They guide people through the process of making life changes by helping them evaluate the steps they must take to reach a particular goal, then help them decide how — and whether — to take those steps in the most efficient, effective and rewarding way possible. A life coach acts as a motivator, strategist and accountability partner. Unlike a therapist, a life coach doesn’t help solve problems from your past — they’re focused on helping you move forward with new ways of acting and thinking that will help you reach your goals. Some people specialize in particular types of life coaching, including life balancing coaches, small business coaches, executive coaches and personal finance coaches. Some meet clients in person, while others hold consultations over the phone.

Regardless of which type of life coach you’re interested in, make sure the person holds an International Coach Federation (ICF) credential. There are three tiers of credentials: Associate, Professional and Master, which require coaching experience ranging from 100 hours to 2,500 hours.

How much does a life coach cost?

A life coach helps clients set and reach professional and personal goals, develop positive habits, and deal with stress. Some people meet with a life coach once or twice, while others form an ongoing professional relationship, meeting regularly in person or on the phone. The average national cost to meet with a life coach ranges from $80 to $130 an hour. Some coaches offer per-session pricing, especially for one-time meetings; expect to pay an average of $100-$125. People who want to work with a coach over a period of time to explore life transitions, career growth or lifestyle changes may be able to get discounted pricing in a package. For example, three 60-minute sessions cost an average of $300, four 60-minute sessions cost an average of $350, and four 60- to 90-minute sessions plus unlimited contact between sessions cost an average of $400. Some specific types of coaching, such as relationship or marriage coaching, cost more than standard life coaching. For instance, three 60-minute relationship coaching sessions cost an average of $500, four 60-minute sessions cost an average of $550, and six 60- to 90-minute sessions cost an average of $650 when purchased as a package. Training and experience can also affect the cost of hiring a life coach. An Associate Certified Coach, who holds a certification that requires only 60 hours of training and 100 hours of coaching experience, will charge less than a Master Certified Coach, who typically has at least 200 hours of training and 2,500 hours of coaching experience.

What is a holistic wellness coach?

When you want to reach new heights with your health and wellness, consider hiring a holistic wellness coach. Much like a health coach, a holistic wellness coach is focused on your well-being and meets with you in one-on-one sessions to help you identify and reach your targeted goals. A holistic wellness coach will typically have you take all components of your life into account when working to achieve your goals. If your goal is to lose weight, a holistic wellness coach will not only offer recommendations for your diet and exercise, but also discuss your emotional health, your work/life balance, your spiritual side, and each area of your life that affects your ability to follow a nutrition and fitness plan.

Although they are highly motivational and often can help clients achieve great results, holistic wellness coaches are not professional health care providers or registered dietitians. Different institutes and training centers provide certifications for holistic wellness coaching, so be sure to research your coach and read their reviews to understand more about their techniques and training.

      Why get a life coach?

People of all ages and in all careers have called in a life coach. Life coaches are accredited professionals who can help you figure out the tangible changes you can make in your life to reach your goals; they can even help you turn your dreams into goals, if you’re not sure where to go next. A life coach can also help people find their purpose in life. Life coaching clients often have an idea of what they want to do, such as help people or work with animals, but don’t know how to turn that passion into a career. A life coach can help clients work through the options to find a clear path with concrete steps that lead to an attainable goal. A life coach can also help clients make a major career change, such as starting a new business. Life coaches can help clients develop better habits that will make them more successful, acting as an accountability partner. Life coaches also often guide their clients through major transitions in life, such as a career change or other stressful situations that are made easier with guidance from a neutral third party.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
