FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Notary Public Fees are set by the State of Texas and are published on the Secretary of State website. My travel fees are determined on the time involved and length of a commute to a notarization destination. A sense of urgency during non-regular business hours, 8PM-8AM, will involve an additional cost. A business deadline or a need to catch a plane; a business meeting depending on a notary being present; a specific individual will only be available during a certain time period for signing are some examples.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Verifying all customer information, date, time and location of service. Determining the customers' needs and time frame for services; availability of all parties required to sign a document in front of a notary. Is there a need for a witness to attest to a signature.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Paralegal for 25 plus years in the legal industry organizing numerous documents requiring notarization and notarization of business documents and loan closings. Also, responsible for facilitating recordation of executed documents with various recording venues.
