- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a base price for many types of work, primarily contracts and other paperwork, and an hourly rate for additions, consultation, and other concerns.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lawyers are required to do continuing education as part of their licensing, but I also read up on topics I deal with a lot on my own time, including intellectual property, arbitration, and contracts.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
During hurricane Katrina I had a dispute with my landlord. As a result, I ended up facing him in court. It was a scary and stressful experience, and I vowed at that time I'd do everything I could to make sure other people didn't have to experience that feeling.
