We hired Kari as our wedding planner and she was amazing from the beginning! She made the process of finding a venue and vendors super easy and she took a ton of stress off of us. Definitely hire Kari to plan your wedding!

First and foremost Kari YOU ARE THE BEST!! La Chantel Weddings & Events are the right wedding planners y’all can ever ask. They had done such a great job for our wedding by making sure everything was set up correctly as we wanted. Our wedding was after the huge Winter storm hit Houston but Kari was still pending for us and help us out by pulling a great decoration in our venue. Highly recommended!

Last minute decision to hire a “Day of Wedding Coordinator” and I promise to all the future brides, IT IS SO WORTH IT. Kira, I would hire you over and over again!! We had a wedding we had to plan on a very short timeline and everything was rushed. We contacted Kari a week before the event for the decorations and didn't have much hope due to the time crunch. But she not only did a great job at getting it done, she did it so well that it just didn't feel like a rushed wedding venue! What Kari did to the venue took it to another level. Simply beautiful!! The wedding was inside a temple and we wanted to keep the feel of it and not go overboard with the decorations! Again, Kari delivered with aplomb!! She made sure the decorations complemented the temple and fit right in!! Moreover, Kari also worked with our budget and delivered a few extra goodies! She had everything ready before the event and was also punctual in taking the decorations down as per the venue admin's needs. Kari was very easy to talk to and came through as the very nice person that she is! Overall, it was an all-round great experience to work with Kari and we look forward to connect with her again for any future events 😊🙌

I hired La Chantel for my at home wedding. She only had a week to prepare for it and she nailed it. She provided pictures of what she could provide me with, she responded quickly to my messages and emails. She arrived on time to set up and was very prepare. She followed covid procedures and wore a mask. All my guest were very impressed. She is very professional I left her alone to do her job and she did an amazing job. I would definitely hire her again for my next event.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been planning and decorating events for family and friends since I was 17 years old. After doing many events for others and seeing the how the atmosphere of each one brought family and friends together, I knew event planning was what I was meant to do. When I went off to college I decided to turn my passion into my profession. Now I have my own business doing what I love! Each day is exciting!

I have mostly planned and designed weddings, birthday parties, baby showers and class reunions. I am open to all types of events.
