From the beginning of my project I was a newb and contacted about 10 contractors before selecting Paverock! I chose Paverock because Ken took the time to explain the various materials used in making patios and what would best meet my needs (i.e., design, yard and finances)! No one else did that. Their website is professional and helpful. Ken was professional from the beginning and was very patient with all of my questions and what felt like nagging to me on my part. He told me once my project began it would take only a week, and it took only a week! The guys doing the work were nice and left the yard as neat as possible each day when leaving; a large tarp covered the space to prevent the rain from filling it before work began, etc. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the design he came up with for me and all of the work! I am now having him complete a pergola for me and hopefully some additional work in the near future (e.g., front porch/walk)! When you choose Paverock you'll have a beautiful addition to your home that you'll be proud of for years!

Paverock installed a small (16x9 ft) patio in my backyard in The Heights. It was a small job, one that needed to match the existing pavers installed by the builder. Steve, the salesman, gave me great design ideas, and committed to installing within two weeks. Kevin supervised the project himself, overseeing the best paving crew in Houston. These guys are professional, polite, and cleaned up very well. The mound of sand, crushed granite, and concrete was removed upon completion with nary a grain remaining. And this was on a gravel alleyway! Impressed and highly recommend these guys. When doing a small job, it is easy to be sidelined, but this company treated me with great respect.

They are fast and friendly when it comes to getting the deposit check, but don't expect them to keep any timelines (excusing weather-related issues) or to fix any issues they cause. I emailed them on April 27 desiring a quote. Steve came by that very day to show samples and took my deposit. He told me that they could do the job in four weeks, six maximum and that someone from the office would call in a few days to go over additional details. Never happened. I called three weeks later and was treated to the soothing voice of Kenny who apologized, and explained they were busy. Fast forward, they never told me when they were coming and surprised me one day by dumping a pallet of bricks in front of my garage (thank god my car was not inside). I asked them to move it. By the time the job was finally completed, they killed 1/4 of my grass with bricks, killed the grass outside of my property by leaving gravel/sand everywhere, and now there is a pool in my backyard whenever it rains. Kenny has been making excuses the entire time for missed deadlines and issues, citing that they are "busy." Kenny and Steve have been giving me the run around for over a month regarding coming to see it and providing a solution. I would not recommend this company AT ALL. They're probably not bad people, and the paved part looks really nice, but they obviously are growing faster than they can properly service their clients and having a pool for mosquitoes in the middle of one's yard is not desirable.

I hired them for redoing my backyard back in May. The sales person took 50% down payment and told me someone would be calling me with the schedule, but they never did. I waited more than 2 months and confess that at some point I thought they had just ran away with the money. When I called them, they said it was because they had a lot of backlog due to the weather. I called them a couple times and, after almost 2 months, they told me they would be starting the job in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I called them and they said that it would be at least another 2 weeks. They came and started the job. Then, I received a phone call saying that the forecast for the weather would be rain and that no one would show up. That was fair, but they didn't show up for the next whole sunny week and no one call me to tell me what was going on. Finally, they showed up and finished the job. The pavers actually did an amazing job. The backyard looks great. So, I would give them 5 starts for the product, but they scored very low on customer service. There was a complete lack of communication from their part and it was up to me as a customer to keep calling them and asking them what was going on all the time. No company should take 50% of down payment and disappear for months. I think they are good people trying to grow a business, so I strongly recommend them to work on their communication with their clients and, if something change after months waiting for the job to start, to offer the client the possibility of breaking the contract for a full refund.

Paverock did a stellar job meeting my timeline which was a very short window. I was replacing approx. 900 sq ft of 15-yr old pavers with new pavers. Unfortunately weather plays a big part in what they do and weather did cause delays. But the workmanship was excellent. Carlos and his crew worked the entire time they were on site. They were respectful of my property (no errant levels thrown into a bush or grass destroyed). Most on the installation crew spoke or understood English which is a real plus nowadays. Work was delayed a week because of weather, but the morning of our big scheduled event, Paverock crew was out cleaning the pavers and getting everything cleaned up. This was not an inexpensive project, but worth every penny. Results are beyond my expectations.
