- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I co-founded a nonprofit animal rescue in 2004. We took in thousands of dogs each year. This required taking many pictures to help network dogs in need of forever homes. In addition I worked long hours and would take pictures of landscapes on the way to work and home. Eventually I upgraded equipment and practiced more and more joining many local photography clubs and volunteering for charity events. Over time people requested my work and my part time passion grew into a full time career. I am happy that I am able to do what I love each day.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Willing to travel to your location or meet somewhere for the perfect session for Headshots, Family, Doggie and Me, Kids, Architectural, Landscape, Real-estate and Community Events.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
While many clients know exactly what they want its ok to relax and just go with it. Some of the most amazing sessions started with no preconceived ideas. Sometimes it is ok to just let loose and let the creative process unfold :)
