Byron Riley performed accounting and consulting services for the ABC Health Connection, Inc. (ABC) non -profit agency. Byron Riley revised the Chart of Accounts for ABC converting the existing obsolete digital version to the updated QuickBooks 2014. Byron categorized the accounts, subaccounts and added class types, and provided a financial business plan and strategy to utilize going forward. He restructured the ledger to meet Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for non- profits that allows us to be audit ready. Byron arranged the data to produce tax documents and reports as needed for financial accountability to the Board of Directors, funders and stake holders. Byron provided customized training in data entry and an easily replicable process allowing (ABC) to bring the financial records to be brought to a current status and maintained. He monitored our progress in person and online allowing us to work at a pace comfortable for my understanding. Byron was always timely and he checked in for status updates frequently answering all questions and addressing technical difficulties as they occurred. The qualities I found most impressive about Byron Riley was his professionalism, generosity and patience with my learning curve. Byron went above and beyond with his follow-ups, provision of resources and instruction. The quality of his work revealed that he excels at his craft. His expertise in various accounting software programs, GAAP and best practices for nonprofits is evident. His volunteer work and board positions attest to his leadership skills and desire to give back to the community while making a personal investment in the ambitions of others. I could not have asked for a better experience than I received with Byron Riley. I am so glad that Byron is expanding his accounting and consulting services to include training in QuickBooks and other business management tools and processes. Byron has a true gift for instruction and the ability to inspire others to realize their professional goals.
