In the past six years, Web Crafters created three websites for me: two regular websites and one WordPress site. Until recently they also created my monthly e-newsletter, and when I wanted to switch to a platform I could use myself, they set it up for me and tutored me in it. They've also designed several promotional materials (bookmarks and postcards) for me. Working with Shelley (and Peggy) is effortless pleasure. I'm not tech savvy in the least, but they explain everything carefully and give me options so that I can make the best decisions for myself. They're wonderfully quick to respond to questions and they always follow up. With design work they've been fantastically responsive to my (very particular!) wishes, and successfully achieved the tone I wanted with my websites on each occasion. I trust them and I've truly enjoyed working with them. I recommend them strongly.

Shelley is the webmaster on the websites for two of my clients, so we work together very frequently. I recommend her without reservation. She's creative, with a great eye for color and design. But just as important, she's organized and stays on top of frequent website updates. I can send an update schedule to her and then take it off my to-do list because I can trust that she will get everything done on time. She's a pleasure!

I can't say enough good things about the experience I had working with Web Crafters to redesign my website. I felt like Shelley really heard what I wanted and gave me that and much more. She has an understanding of the audience authors want to reach, and the designs reflect that. She had neverending patience with any questions or tweaks I came up with. I've worked with Shelley over 14 years. She's creative, smart, responsive and reliable. Whether it's a complete re-do or weekly updates, I know the work will be done brilliantly and on time. Everyone wants a presence on the web, but finding the right company to design the right presence can be daunting. Shelley and Web Crafters are always there for me. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I'm always learning through workshops, books, the internet and in particular, which is a key resource for my ongoing education.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was an art major in college, but before the internet was even around! I ended up going into the legal field and after 10 years, decided it was too stressful. A friend was hiring for his web department in the mid 90s and he offered me a job because he knew I loved computers and designing ... and the rest is history!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Website design and development are the bulk of our business. We do a lot of Wordpress sites but also custom sites from scratch. Because we work a lot with authors, we also send enewsletters for marketing, mailing list and contest management and format e-books (and e-book covers design) as well as print design of bookmarks, business cards and post cards.
