- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate is $0.05/word on projects up to 4,000 words. Above that count, I offer to negotiate as low as $0.04/word, lower if the work is less research intensive. I offer a special 20,000-word package for a flat rate of $625 and can deliver this package within 6 days, likely fewer than that.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I often provide packages of five to ten authoritative articles or creative blog posts at a set price-per-word based on the complexity of the assignment. I've also often produced single pieces of writing (blog posts), editing services for existing bad content, and sometimes large projects lasting months at a time.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a writer with at least five years' experience who offers a negotiable rate. Look for a writer with references and/or a large portfolio of varied work. Make sure your writer understands your deadlines.
