My 10 year old was getting bored with his previous instructor's teaching methods and had been begging us to drop guitar lessons. We thought we would try a different instructor. We've had only one meeting, but I saw a light reappear in my son's eyes and he is excited to start lessons with Jon. The video lessons and use of newer computer technology and has my son excited and motivated to keep learning to play.
I starting taking guitar lessons with Michael last summer. I have learned so much! Michael is one of the most talented, knowledgable, creative, and artistic musicians I have ever met. As an instructor, Michael is patient and knows how to deliver lessons effectively even to a beginner like me:). I look forward to every lesson with Michael!
Prior to dennis, i had never taken guitar lessons. Always tried to teach myself. I struggled since i had no structure, i would consistantly get lost, which would make me put the guitar down due to frustration. Deciding to hire dennis was a break thru for me, and honestly wish i would have looked into it much sooner. Not only has my skills progressed, which they due weekly at a much faster rate then when i was trying to learn on my own, but my confidence and motivatation has increased greatly. I look forward to meeting with dennis each week and building off of what he taught me the previous week. The amount of patience dennis has is great, and the way he explains different things so that i understand is awsome. Would definetly recommend dennis to anyone, whether they have just purchased their first guitar, or they have tried numerous times to teach themselves, or even if you have alot of the basics down, but looking to take your knowledge and playing to the next level.
Only had a few lessons, but going great so far.
Michelle seems very dedicated, organized and truly enjoys teaching piano. It's not just a job for her, which is different from our last experience at piano lessons. My daughter and I are happy with our experience so far.
I contacted several competitors prior & they would take long to reply. Zera was not. They responded quickly, politely, & set things up very easily. No back & forth. They have a good interactive site. You can pay online. Very easy people to work with. As far as the lessons, my son is liking it, he looks forward to his lessons every week. I cant ask for more. He is learning bass guitar with Jordan.
My son loves his piano lessons!
It has been outstanding. Joel Tolley is a great teacher. I've come a long way. If you're looking for guitar or bass lessons, he is the best.
Marc is a great instructor! I hired him for my teenage son who recently became interested in playing the guitar. Marc knows how to interact with beginners and he patiently goes back over something if necessary. He stays focused on teaching and doesn't let anything distract him during the lesson. He gives my son "homework" after every lesson, which seems to help reinforce what he just learned. My son is always excited to go to his guitar lesson with Marc! Overall, I would definitely recommend Marc to anyone wanting to start/continue learning guitar. Thanks again Marc!
My son has been taking guitar lessons with Chris for over six years, starting when our son was only 7 years old. Chris is extremely patient, and has guided our son's musical development to a point where he can pick up a song and work his way through it, and simply play for his own enjoyment - and ours! Thanks, Chris, for making his lessons fun while giving him a solid technical musical base. He is using the skills he's learning from you in both his choir activities and the exploration of other musical instruments.
Zach taught me bass guitar for almost two years and it went extremely well. The lessons I received from him were fast paste whether it was jazz or funk the music I learned was new and awesome to me. We covered some very fundamental rules and jazz standards that helped take me to the next step. Seems like Zach knows a lot about what he's doing.
I really enjoy bringing my daughter here for lessons. Aram is a wonderful teacher!!
I took adult guitar lessons with Cathy. She is pure awesomeness! If you are looking for a talented, patient, and knowledgeable teacher, I would definitely recommend her.
My granddaughter, Barbara started her first piano lesson two weeks ago and simply loves it. The owner, Heather is extremely nice, patient and professional. I am expecting great results from this wonder company.
It was intimidating at first because I did not how to play any instrument. Don did a great job helping me to learn a few beats with the drum and I was able to participate in the band battle within a couple of hours of practice (http://www.creativesoulmusic.com/team-building-music). Lots of fun. Will do it again.
Andrew taught my son age 10 guitar lessons. Andrew was very professional and came directly to our home. He is very knowledgeable and my son enjoyed learning from him. We definitely recommend him!!
I began taking guitar lessons from Kenneth when I was 14, and right away, I noticed his ability to mold the lesson into an experience that fit 𝘮𝘺 musical interests and what I wanted to learn. Whether I wanted to learn theory, practice a certain technique or rudiment, or just have fun learning a song, Kenneth could always adapt and make the lesson interesting and enriching. This is a quality that many music teachers lack, and it’s the aspect of his teaching that kept me enticed for so long. In addition to being a great teacher, Kenneth is a passionate music fan of many different genres, and through taking lessons with him, I was exposed to many new musical concepts that opened my eyes to the world of music I was yet to discover. Though I no longer take lessons, I can say for sure that my time with Kenneth has made me a much more skilled, receptive and well rounded musician, and I am very thankful for all the things I learned.
Amazing string bass teacher - superb student motivator and extraordinary player himself. He was a former student in my MS orchestra program in Richardson ISD, and after moving on to HS, and then on to university, he would come back to my school and teach my MS bassists. He's been teaching for many years with consistent stellar results. I know when I have a student studying with him, they will progress technically very rapidly and the best part - the tone quality he is able to get from his students is so very mature and gorgeous. Not only is he a top notch teacher, and player, he is kind, supportive, and very encouraging to his students. If you are lucky enough to study bass with Daniel Nix, you will reach your potential and then some.
We hired Anthony to teach our 11 yr old daughter how to play the guitar. This is her first instrument. Anthony was a pure delight to work with, was always on time and sometimes even stayed a little over to make sure the lesson(s) were taught. He even helped us find a GOOD guitar for our daughter. Our daughter looked forward to each lesson with Anthony. He even broadened his lessons to include vocal coaching as well. I would highly recommend Anthony for anyone needing a music or vocal coach.
The Sound Foundation has been outstanding to us, especially my son. Norman has done everything possible to see that my son receives his guitar lessons. The Sound Foundation makes you feel at home. He is the most friendliest guy I have met and also, super understanding. My son has learned a lot from his instructor and has picked up some skills. Thank you The Sound Foundation!
