The House of Soul is my new go-to for personal chef services! I needed a reasonably priced, good meal for a small dinner party at my home. We discussed the menu choices and I selected jerk chicken, shrimp etouffee with white rice, cabbage, sweet potato casserole, and peach cobbler. The chicken was moist and actually tasted like the jerk chicken I've had in the Caribbean. The sweet potato casserole was the best I've ever had and I am from the South. Everone was surprised by the beef and spices in the cabbage but they added another texture and flavor that simply worked. I'm not an etouffee person but hers was a hit and the most complimented dish of the evening The rice was a little sticky but I had to reheat it so that could be on me. She was on time. She gave me detailed instructions on heating and serving the food. She brought tongs and extra jerk sauce. It was full service and a very pleasant experience. I had leftovers to share. Great value. I reccomend House of Soul highly!

Aundrea was the best!!! I was nervous and stressed about planning my dinner party for 14. She assured me she would handle everything and she did. After we planned the menu - she did all the shopping, prepared a wonderful meal, provided the servers and they cleaned up. I will definitely use her again. She is a great chef and my guests enjoyed her and her food.

I have known Andrea for a few years and she has impeccable cooking and presentation skills. I have been fortunate to have been invited to a few of her dinner parties and the food was amazing. She catered my 50th birhday party and the guests kept commenting on how good the food was, needless to say they took doggie bags home with them. Andrea has the skills and personality to make a huge impression on any event she caters. Try her cooking out, you won't be disappointed!!

Very professional and prompt. The ham, green beans and stuffing were all very tasty, and I wished we had ordered more of the spicy deviled eggs. Aundrea's a talented cook and will be able to accommodate your cuisine needs. If I could give a half-star, I would have awarded her a 4.5 rating.

    1) Asses the refrigerator and pantry to determine the staples needed for meal preperation. 2) Question client on meal intake such as calories, dietary restrictions, likes and dislikes. 3) Clean and organize refrigerator and pantry. 4) Submit a schedule and menu per clients instructions.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    As a personal chef for families that don't have time to prepare fresh home-cooked meals due to their work schedules. I take the stress out of their lives by preparing meals daily/weekly. I worked with powerful executives, professional athletes, musicians, and single Mom's and Dad's who don't have time to cook.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Think/eat outside of the box. If your hiring a chef dont be simplistic, be adventurous, your palate will love you for it. Taste something youve never tasted before, something exotic. Try a wine youve never heard of before, that could be really fun.
