My son, Eric has been taking lessons from Mariah for the last two years. He had previous classical piano lessons, but wanted to learn Jazz piano. In just a few lessons she taught him enough to pass an audition for Jazz piano at Booker T Washington HS for the Performing Arts. He is presently taking vocal lessons and has taught him ways to increase his vocal range as in how to access the high register of his chest range without straining. I would highly recommend her to someone that is looking for an excellent vocal coach.

Dr. Carter is an excellent teacher. I have worked with her for years and can say she is amazing! If you are a seasoned professional singer, a young singer just starting out or anywhere in between, she can draw out your best and put you on top! Hanna Abercrombie is a remarkably adept teacher, she has been teaching our 10 year old twin boys for four years. She is so very good with the children and they love her. One of our boys is particularly difficult and yet she has transformed him into a pianist. Both boys just medaled on the TMTA statewide music theory exam and they play better than most adults. Our boys have excelled over other kids we know of a similar age and instructional period. She does everything in a very professional manner.
