Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: This isn't just a pony ride! At Starline Stables, we teach hunter, jumper and dressage disciplines, as well as grooming and basic care of the horse before and after each lesson. All riders, from beginner to advanced, who are interested in pleasure or showing are welcome. We provide a variety of lesson horses and tack for your use, but you are welcome to bring your own horse (just bring an up-to-date coggins and shot record) or your own gear. Safety is our main priority. A helmet must be worn at every mounted moment. We do have helmets available, but we strongly encourage you to purchase your own for the best fit. All helmets must be ASTM or SEI certified, no bike helmets permitted. Students are invited to participate in shows and clinics with our school horses as well!

Megan is a very personable and knowledgeable trainer, is friendly, really seeks to connect with the student, always has a planned lesson that corresponds well with her students level, is patient, encourages, is tough when needed, give great rewards, and goes the extra mile. My daughter has really connected with her and respects her as a teacher. She is highly recommended!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Provide private, semi private, and group lessons. All of our lessons are focused around the student taking the knowledge to be great horse people. We strive in teaching students the "why" and not just the "how".

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a great riding instructor, make sure they have a good connection with the student. Go out an observe a few lessons. Never select an instructor that will not let you see them work.
