- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't typically use a standard pricing system because every project can have many different facets to it. The clients typically give me a budget of what they're wanting to spend on the project and we decide what's fair for both parties.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the client to discuss the project. Then we decide what types of materials and times would be acceptable. Then I give them an estimate of what the completed project would cost. With larger jobs I require 20% down to purchase materials and set up a schedule. On smaller jobs I just require payment when finished.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been self-employed since 1977. I owned a poured wall foundation company and also a Custom Home building company. Also have done remodeling and renovation projects over the years.
