Jamie teaches yoga from her heart and soul. She has a genuine personality and is able to create classes that are accessible for all yogis despite their yoga experiences. Her cues and sequencing give me the space to feel safe and her themes and life lessons in the class always help me feel a little bit better about my life. I feel privileged to have taken classes with this yoga teacher.

Great assessment of our physical conditions and potential limitations. Started us out at a reasonable level and brought us to higher levels of endurance, balance and healthy habits each week. She always created different work outs with different equipment so that boredom was never an issue. She would repeat certain routines for us to see our progress. What a friendly, knowledgable trainer. We learned so much from her training, socially, and spiritually. Holly was always punctuial and gave 100% of her attention to each client. We miss her and wish circumstances could bring her back to the gym.
I loved my experience with Ms. Tacon! She is very well-educated in the study of yoga, as well as all the poses. Not only did I enjoy her class, but the way she taught it. Ms. Tacon shows her personality when she is teaching her classes, laughing, joking around, and her love of yoga really comes out.
Harold comes to the jail to work with Maximum security males in a programs unit. He does this on his own time at no charge. He understands the value of yoga particularly for this population and does what he can to fill the need!! He has always been professional, punctual and committed to the service! I have received nothing but positive feedback from participants.

She was an excellent yoga instructor, cannot recommend enough! I have some shoulder injuries due to a surgery I had earlier last year, and she did a great job of not only working around it, but making it feel a bit less stressed after our session! She does a great job of describing exactly what to do to get in and out of certain positions, which is usually hard in a private instead of a class. Lovely woman, can't wait to see her again.

Absolutely love Marjorie Montufar's variety of yoga classes - Hatha, Vinyasa, and Meditation practice. Marjorie's experience shines through her intuitive yoga instructions. She takes time to assess the needs of her students prior to starting classes. She offers comforting guidance for all stages of my yoga practice, including proper yoga positions, alternative positions to avoid injury, breathing techniques, meditation. Most importantly, as an instructor she encourages learning to listen to your physical limitations while still stretching your mind and body to find balance in your life. I have been attending classes under Marjorie for 6 months now, each class I leave feeling more relaxed and centered, knowing I have accomplished so much in so little time.
So, I am a Certified Personal Trainer. I live in Austin and am willing to travel to surrounding areas. I have worked out in Denver, Colorado for over 10 years. Meaning, I am very experienced at Weight and Strength Training, Simple Movements, Hiking and Small Rock Slopes, Cardiovascular Endurance. Furthermore, I am also excellent at Yoga. I trained for years under an amazing instructor named Vali. We spent many years progressing at his art. As time permits, I am working on my Certification in Sports Nutrition and am also working towards a 500 hour Yoga Certification, which is fantastic as I already know most everything in training. I am almost finished taking said courses, and hope to certify at months end. Again, I love to work out and I study food in order to prevent chemical dependency on food, and substance abuse resulting in heart problems and more importantly disease spreading. I am thrilled to do outdoor and indoor Yoga performance. As for weight training.... I am willing to travel to your home or you may work out in my gym for an additional fee or we may do an outdoor activity gym (which I love most). Seems tough, isn't though. Keeping as a singleness to show purpose, I also start working towards a Doctor level degree in Mental Health at University of Texas, starting in mid January. Meaning, I am not able to counsel on your mental condition (no licensure). I am however able to help improve overall physical health through certifications which also have a great degree involving answers about how to live through exercise and eating properly. Moreover, I have honors in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Medical Terminology, and Psychology. So lastly, I would love to help anyone who is suffering and would really like to feel better, improve their ability function, eat proper, and work towards a healthier and happier life.
