When you request a service from a contractor, you have the responsibility to communicate your requirements with him clearly, send him a written precise work order if you see fit. Don't be vague and then complain that he didn't do the things that you thought you asked him to do or what you think he should have done. Having said that, my own experience with Mr. King 2 days ago, was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a Thumbtack, or any other contractor. He called me 3 minutes after I posted my request for a bid on Thumbtack. He was VERY professional and CLEAR. He asked me what service I needed and of course I said: " I need you to clean all the gutters of my house." He asked me how many sq ft my house is and I told him "2,535." Then he asked me when I last had my gutters cleaned and I said "November 2019 - just before Covid hit." He paused for a moment to think and he said that it would cost me a total of $550. I said "OK that's reasonable, when can you come and do it?" He said he could be at my house in 2 hours. I was thrilled that I could get same day service and I said "You are hired." He asked me to text him my homes address, and I did. He rang my doorbell 2 hours later, to inform me that he had arrived and he was starting the job. When he finished he rang the bell again, showed me before and after pictures of my gutters, I paid him the $550, I gave him a bottle of cold water and he went about his way. There was no back and forth, no ambiguity and a VERY PLEASED customer. I WILL hire Mr. King again and I will recommend him to all my friends without any hesitation nor reservations.

Marquelle was very easy to work with. He was flexible in timing, as I had to change days. He kept me informed, talked about what he had in mind for the lighting, gave me information I needed about the right type of lights for the areas, and I made a Hone Depot run. He then executed the work very well, helped me pull a box needed out of my garage and then helped clean up afterwards. I highly recommend him. It is not dark enough to add a photo now, but I think it is going to look very nice! Thanks, Marquelle!

Quell was professional, willing to work with his customers on a quality job at the right price for both, and did quality work. He hung our Christmas lights and they look amazing, not only was he early for the job, but he did not leave until he ensured every light bulb worked and I was absolutely satisfied with the look and feel. All I can say is, “WOW”! Marc AKA “Mr. King” did an awesome job!!! I will definitely call him again. He was quick to respond, came out the same day, and was very hardworking! My gutters were fixed and he cleaned them out. I got two other quotes and they wanted to replace everything for THOUSANDS of dollars, which I couldn’t afford. Marc fixed it as requested and cost me so much less. THANK GOODNESS FOR Marc!! He is a gem!
