- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Medical clinics do change a lot and because you can find that information through Medicare, it is not necessary to go to school. I think my experience and accomplishments are sufficient. Continued education would be so I make more money.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It just happened. I was a phlebotomist for a clinic and they offered me more hours in the office if I would learn billing. So I did and here I am.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Assessing and revamping the billing department so it will continue to achieve the doctors goals. Finding money that has not been received in some time. Unraveling old claims and getting them paid.
