About this pro
Emma took my wedding pictures and I loved the outcome. She got the pictures I wanted even when the backdrop or wind was working against her. She stayed and made sure we got all the photos we wanted and never got impatient. I loved how she was always excited when I requested different poses - even odd ones. She was just outstanding! I would definitely have her take pictures for me again at any event!Jan 15, 2015

Emma was great! She did my bridal portraits and our wedding pictures. She was so down to earth and had great ideas. She made it an amazing experience for not only me and my husband, but for our whole family and bridal party. Would definitely recommend her!Dec 15, 2014

Emma was a wonderful photographer! We used her for our engagement pictures, bridal pictures and wedding pictures and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! She was very easy to work with and made being in front of a camera fun, not to mention she was 8 months pregnant when she did my wedding! I would definitely recommend her!Dec 6, 2014

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My prices aren't complicated: who needs that? My job is to make your wedding simpler, not muck it up by acting like a stuck-up "artiste." I have my products and pricing listed publicly on my web site, and you can choose a package deal or a la carte to perfectly fit your needs. You can decide before or wait until after the wedding exactly which products are most important to you. I'm not a shoot and burn photographer, and your first family heirloom will be treasured for years to come.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm working on a BS in Entrepreneurial Business Management and Human Resources, and I participate in many professional wedding photography groups, both local and online. We share tips, inspiration, help, and resources. I attend professional webinars and live workshops. But nothing beats just getting out there and shooting a lot of weddings!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started out as a graphic design instructor and started taking photos to enhance my work. I volunteered to photography a friend's wedding, but because of my business degree and background, I approached it like a my career. I booked another wedding with a guest right there at the reception, photos unseen, and became close friends with the bride. Our babies play together now. There's just something about weddings, the people, the relationships, that really excites me about this career!
