My 10 year old was getting bored with his previous instructor's teaching methods and had been begging us to drop guitar lessons. We thought we would try a different instructor. We've had only one meeting, but I saw a light reappear in my son's eyes and he is excited to start lessons with Jon. The video lessons and use of newer computer technology and has my son excited and motivated to keep learning to play.
I contacted several competitors prior & they would take long to reply. Zera was not. They responded quickly, politely, & set things up very easily. No back & forth. They have a good interactive site. You can pay online. Very easy people to work with. As far as the lessons, my son is liking it, he looks forward to his lessons every week. I cant ask for more. He is learning bass guitar with Jordan.
My son loves his piano lessons!
Sherry King is an outstanding choice for a guitar teacher! She's knowledgeable, well-qualified, experienced, and passionate toward her art and her students! She's the perfect fit for our needs, and her prices are more than fair!
I was a 56 year old man that finally decided to learn to play an instrument instead of spending my life wishing I could play an instrument. Being a product of the 70s, Id always had a desire play a bass guitar in a rock and roll band. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon Mark Black and Promethean Studios. From the beginning, my desire has been to learn how to play music not just become a human jukebox. Under Marks guidance for the last year and a half, I feel I am achieving that goal. Even though I know I have hardly scratched the surface of the musical universe, I was able to quickly hold my own with a band of experienced grey beards I play with regularly. Mark has proven to me he is an experienced teacher with a solid approach to teaching music that fits my needs. Mark also has a dry wit that keeps each lesson interesting. I would definitely recommend Mark to anyone with a serious interest in learning music.
Zach taught me bass guitar for almost two years and it went extremely well. The lessons I received from him were fast paste whether it was jazz or funk the music I learned was new and awesome to me. We covered some very fundamental rules and jazz standards that helped take me to the next step. Seems like Zach knows a lot about what he's doing.
Mr.Tim Snyder is a great vocalist ,he is wonderful teacher I haven't been knowing him for very long but I can already tell this will be a wonderful experience
Travis worked with me on the recording of two albums as a session guitarist. His work employed technicalities that helped shape the future of my band's work. These albums have secured an 8 week tour, and my playing as an experienced guitarist has been influenced by Travis' input. If I could, I would practice with Travis regularly.
Chad McCutchen is an excellent drum instructor. Not all good musicians are good at teaching but Chad is gifted in both areas. Our daughter was 16 when she started music lessons with Chad. He always welcomed me, as a parent, to sit in and observe their lessons. At our first meeting Chad was very good to ask questions, listen and assess her abilities. He then designed a learning plan based on our collective goals. After each lesson our daughter left feeling encouraged, challenged and excited to try new things! We especially appreciate Chad’s flexibility. Halfway through the semester, our daughter had a shoulder injury that made it difficult to practice drums. Chad was very understanding and able to insert a few guitar lessons while her shoulder got better. Chad is a humble, creative, highly skilled and yet challenging instructor. We (parent and student) would highly recommend his services!
Great teacher!!! He is very professional, knows so much, my kids have learned a lot with him and the best part is that they love him and really enjoy and have fun in his class, both voice and guitar lessons and some piano
I took lessons while in college with Travis for a few weeks and in that time he threw so much information at me so fast ranging from hand positions, warm-ups and downs, and theory; but it was so well portioned that nothing felt overwhelming. After those few weeks of lessons and working out the kinks, I went from fumbling around to keeping up with an established band. The only thing I would have done differently would have been to start taking lessons with him sooner. He is an excellent teacher and has an air about him that just elicits comfort and learning.
My performances are fun for me and my audiences. The learning is also enjoyable, allowing for feedback and student experiences and tastes. The lessons are tailored to the students' needs, especially when we go one on one. If you are a beginner, I will help you chose a good instrument with reasonable pricing. I also set up the action and repair harps and guitars. You may benefit from an adjustment. I really don't like it. I love it! Exploring the mysteries of harmony and rhythm is very rewarding. Teaching is sharing, as is performing. They can both be great fun.
Lane is a phenomenal guitar player and an even better instructor. My playing has improved rapidly over the past three years. He finds way to teach very complicated music theory in a way that even I can understand. I fully recommend him to all levels of guitar players.

I am a professional graphic designer with over ten years experience. I graduated at the top of my class, and i would love to make your business rise above the rest.; It's never the same. I'm always getting to work on new and exciting projects for my clients.
I use my skills as an educator to work with each student in a way that he/she can learn the best. This leads to faster learning, but also better young musicians! I love seeing the passion for music being lit in people's souls!
I have over 25 years experience teaching and performing. I use a series of proven books that act as a guide and enable the student to learn at his or her own pace. Also, because I offer live online guitar lessons, this gives the student a lot of options and presents the element of convienence. I do have students that come to my location, but it's all about having choices. Anybody that has ever been involved in teaching can answer this question. Learning guitar can be quite challenging. There is a reason it is not offered in elementary school curriculum where as band and orchestra are. There is no better feeling than seeing a student develop skills on guitar, and to know they did so with your help. It's a life time skill they will have.
Nearly 10 years in music starting with trombone in symphonic, marching and jazz band. Have performed as a guitarist in a jazz band, combo, show choir accompanist, regional touring pop-punk band, open mic nights. I am mostly self taught with training in music theory & instrument technique. Also play uke and piano. Deep knowledge of Chords, progressions, scales, exercises, improvisation, jazz/blues, rock/alternative, punk, metal, raggae I can always return to guitar as an anchor for clearing my mind. Listening to any song and learning to play it for myself, also creating new sounds and the challenge of performing(originals or covers) for family/friends or on stage is always a rush. Its an outlet that anyone can learn and I enjoy fostering an environment for others to develop quickly
