- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You can sign up for classes on our website, or we take registration information over the phone. We will send an class email 1 week before it starts listing the things to bring for the class. For private dog training sessions, we can do a FREE assessment over the phone so we will know how many sessions it would take to train your dog. For our board and training program, we have a FREE consultation over the phone to help decide which program is best for you and your dog.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my professional dog trainer certification from Animal Behavior College in 2003. All staff are certified dog trainers as well. Later I attended the Trainers Academy at Service Dogs, Inc., where they teach dog trainers to become Service Dog trainers, which is my passion. I'm also a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator for the AKC. I am a Certified PetTech Instructor teaching Pet CPR & First Aid workshops every other month.
