I had been to many fitness centers across Dallas, but I would vote coach Jose as a really good instructor among trainers I have met. His training is beyond what I expected and really would refer him if you looking to get your body strengthen with self defense and his pricing is really fair.

Jose is awesome! He’s fabulous with technique and explains why you need to do things a certain way. This is especially important to me, being one of his older clients (55+). Also he can modify your training if you’re rebounding from an injury! A huge help!

Jose has a high standard of training and commitment. Part of his commitment is being at the gym by 5:00am for his clients. He takes the time to understand each of his clients individually. Jose pushes us to be be stronger not only physically, mentally as well. He is also sure to give out of the gym instructions to continue care of our bodies and health. Jose is a young leader with a heart for people and building them to be their best. I would highly recommend him as a trainer!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One on one Personal Training is available in single sessions as well as bundles of 4, 8, or 12 at a reduced rate. 1 Hr $50 30 minutes $30 Bundles 1 hour sessions: 4 Sessions = $165 8 Sessions = $320 12 Sessions = $450
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my client and generally we meet 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled session to discuss short and long terms goals along with medical conditions I should be aware of. I am aware that every client's need is different so this part is very important to me, as I will ask various questions to collect information about their expectations. We begin all sessions with a warm up to ensure muscles are loose and relaxed, heart rate is up, and most importantly to prevent injury. From there we will go through a workout designed to fulfill my client's needs. This workout will include Boxing, Strength and Conditioning, or a combination of the two. I also like to leave my clients with "Homework", as in something to practice at home/ look forward to in our next session. ( Generally working technique or form )
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10 years experience of competitive Boxing with USA Boxing. Currently still active and competing in both Boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have cut and made weight for competition comfortably a large number of times. Head Coach at JAB Boxing Academy. Head Trainer at 9Round Kickboxing & Fitness.
