Nancy is the authentic deal. I would describe her as a medical MT with extensive knowledge of the muscle and joint function of the human body. Nancy released the pain I was experiencing in my neck, shoulder and knees. She provided a sincere desire to assist me. I value her ability as a massage therapist and her advice. I shall return. Nancy is the most effective practitioner I know. She has saved me much discomfort as a "road warrior" -- I spend long hours on planes, sit in awful chairs at my customer site, and drive dreadful compact rental cars more miles than I care to remember. Nancy can somehow make that all bearable, and I leave for my next trip completely refreshed! I would not be anywhere near as effective in my work without her nurturing attentionApr 26, 2012
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We offer competitive pricing and also offer discounts on packages of 4 or more sessions bought up-front.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?New customers should come at least 20 minutes early in order to fill out the required state health intake form and to review that with their therapist. We will then discuss what the new customer is looking for in regards to their session, what their life style is like and how we might be able to help them moving forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In 2002, Nancy headed back to school to begin adding over 1,200 hours in various massage modalities. Nancy completed the Swedish massage program and a certification as a Neuromuscular Therapist (works with managing pain as well as faster recovery from injuries) from Sterling Health Center in Addison, TX. In addition to the deep tissue and neuromuscular training, Nancy has continued in the areas of Pregnancy massage, Cranio-Sacral (Upledgers program), manual lymphatic drainage, and has extensive training in Myofascial Release under John Barnes tutelage. Nancy added on a certification in Orthopedic Massage (under the training of James Waslaski) during 2014-2015.
