GhisTrack may be my best repair yet.
Ghost rack was exceptional. Repaired my pocket door without cutting a hole of any size in the sheet rock. No need to repaint or repair after they finished. Extremely helpfully and accomodating.

Kim and his team have fixed all the pocket doors in our house (we have many). Other contractors quotes were extremely high stating the fact that they would have to rip out sheetrock and wood panelling to access and replace the tracks. Kim's team had the job done in a few hours with no sheetrock work required. We were absolutely amazed at the quality of the work, the short length of time it took, the lack of disruption and the price. I highly recommend them.

This is the second ghost track I have used in about six years. Didn't have the tool the first time -its an added expense but worth it. A local quote was for $600 to $800 for the repair. My handyman did it for $150 with the ghost track, a considerable savings. The door has never been so smooth. The one from six years ago is fine. I have one more to go. I can recommend this product without hesitation.

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We repair sliding pocket doors without putting holes in the wall and are complete in about an hour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Owned and operated accessibility construction company for over 15 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
We will remove your door then replace ALL the hardware (with Lifetime Guarantee) and replace the door, then caulk as needed. If homeowner has touch-up paint, we will apply that to the places we removed some of the trim and casings. All for only $250 within 75 miles of Liberty, Texas.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We have been working with handicap accessibility construction for many years and realized the great need for quick and effective sliding pocket door repair. We can usually fix a sliding pocket door in about an hour.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with homeowners of older homes dating back over 100 years all the way to homes with broken sliding pocket doors that were less than a year old.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We have been used to hearing stories of sliding pocket doors that haven't worked for many years but a favorite on was a family with 5 pocket doors in their home and only 2 worked in over 30 years of living in the house. We not only fixed the 3 that never worked, but we also repaired the other 2 so they worked as well as the ones we installed! before we fixed them all. They couldn't believe we got them all done in one afternoon.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We happen to be the only contractors who specialize in repairing sliding pocket doors because we don't have to damage the existing walls to perform the work. We really love to see sliding pocket doors work well as they are meant to do.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Repairing sliding pocket doors for only $250 is not as bad as trying to match texture where someone had to put a hole to access the hardware but if you like pocket doors, we also specialize in change-out from swing doors to sliding pocket doors. Usually a 3 day job at a cost starting at $800.
