A couple of years ago Mathew restored decorative coffered plaster ceilings for us in the historic Braniff Building in Oklahoma City. The building had been abandoned for many years. The ornamental plaster was very badly damaged and in some cases completely missing. I knew this had to be restored by an expert and an artist. I will tell you that Matthew exceeded expectations in the restoration. The finished work is beautiful and seamless. You really cannot see where the old and the new start and stop. We left some of the old loose paint on the plaster so we could show and prove it was restored. Mathew and his father were great to work with, professional and artists in their trade. The space Mathew finished was an upscale restaurant on the first floor with a ridiculous schedule. Matthew was there on time worked well with us and the other contractors and we all the work on time.

We have worked w Matt on several projects, big and small. Matt and his crew finished all the inside walls and vaulted ceilings of our home w waxed plaster. This is a time consuming process where Matt was always hard at work, cheerful, and ready to explain any questions or concerns. Matt made us many sample boards before we found the exact color and look we wanted. The end result was superb and makes our house special. Additionally, Matt is gifted in many areas of construction. He has assisted us multiple times w small repairs and problem solving. Matt would be an extremely valuable asset to any area of building, remodeling, or custom design. He has a true artist's eye and is a pleasure to know.

Working on projects constantly. There is no class that can teach what I do but I have taught my craft to the Architectural department at Texas Tech.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love to build things and build them well.
