My wedding was in late July and I did not receive my DVD until mid December. During this 5 month span I CONSTANTLY reminded him that I had not received the DVDs, after about 3 months of him saying "I'm almost done editing the video" he stated that he was "mailing it now" in early October. Every 3 weeks I would I form him that I stil had not received the DVDs, after telling him this many times, we made numerous arrangements to meet up to give me the DVDs. He would never show nor never returned my call. After over a month of this runaround I told him he has 3 days to give me the DVDs or I'd hire a lawyer. Do NOT do business with Carson Ingle or anyone affiliated with "Crystal Mountain Studios"
Crystal Mountain Studios's reply
We would never do business as this person has described. They forgot to mention the time it took for their photographer to edit and send the pictures to our studio. Much of the editing we do for weddings is based upon the photographer's work as well. When this is factored in, the time it took to edit the pictures and finalize the video, they had the product online in a little over 3 weeks. The DVDs were not delivered due to a few mix ups on both sides. We did however, deliver the final DVDs to this client personally, not through the mail as they indicated we had.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We thrive on making each and every project unique. No one ever needs the same thing twice. We would prefer each client sit down at a consultation with our team, or we can conduct it over the phone if needed. This gives us an opportunity to hear what you need, and price based on your needs. Not by what we've done in the past.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Daily, we are working with Adobe After Effects, Premiere, or Photoshop. Our most common job is to be editing a commercial we've already shot, or designing a webpage or logo. We also update our clients daily with info on how their project is coming along.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Try to find the company that is going to take your message in the most creative way. Anybody can get on the computer and type up something about what they do, but the difference comes when someone with skills on editing programs adds their creativity.
