Great team and great quality! There was music, light and face painting! All guests loved the intricate designs and great work! I wish I could upload a photo of my daughters face! It was beautiful. Highly recommend!
We just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. This was a particularly important milestone for us and we had been in the planning stages for several months. My wife had contacted and signed another DJ for our job, but it became apparent that he was not the person for us, in spite of his recommendations by several friends. He just never seemed to respond to her inquires and planning calls. That's where Steve and Cindy came into our plans. It was the luckiest thing that happened to us. They only took our last minute (and holiday week end) job request because it was our 50th anniversary and I guess they felt sorry for us. They drove 70 miles initially to meet with us and we knew immediately they were right for our party. They made the entertainment portion of our party so easy from planning to execution. They determined what we wanted, helped with our music list, made suggestions, worked very well with the club where the event took place and had such a grasp of what we wanted that we felt completely comfortable leaving all of the details up to them. Our party was four hours long and they were there more than two hours ahead of schedule to set up and go over any last minute things we wanted to discuss with them and to review our outline of the program. Steve acted as host and moderator while Cindy kept the music flowing. Steve has an excellent voice and did a fantastic job of keeping the party moving, on schedule and involving the crowd in the party. By the time the party started, we felt as though they were part of the guest list! This was a new experience for us and Steve and Cindy were the perfect team for us. We couldn't have been happier with them, their performance, or the way our party turned out. Do yourself a favor and check them out. You will not be disappointed. Marcy and Tony Everette

I have 29 years ln the DeeJay business, she is one of the greatest weddings coordinators to work for.

The task was planning my 50th birthday party. It was a game night theme. The most difficult part was finding a hotel to have the event. The second difficult thing was communicating effectively in order to get things done. We met a total of four times to get everything done. This was great considering what we had to get done. I did do most of the buying of supplies but Dayna made all of my ideas come to life. She was a big help with the cake, decorating the hall and making sure the party stayed on schedule. Dayna set up everything the day of the event and I could focus on me! I loved that part the most. Dayna also handled most of the snafu that came up with the hotel too. Dayna had very effective ways to put things together quickly and had great ideas. I would highly recommend her to plan any event.
Okay where to I begin!!! I book Devin a few months before my wedding. She was very supportive and answered all of my 1 million questions. She formed the day of time line which was executed to a T. She followed up with all vendors and ensured everyone was set up and everything was all in order! She checked on myself and my bridal party frequently throughout the day to see if we needed anything. Anything I needed Devin was on it! She literally made my wedding day so stress free and picture perfect! She was awesome!!!

Kristen is in the late planning stages of my wedding with me and I could not have picked someone who fit me better. As soon as I met her, I knew I had hired someone who would work her hardest to get all the details right, calm my nerves and allow me to be a bride on my wedding day while she handled everything behind the scenes. She's reasonably priced, has lots of industry experience and I would recommend her to the moon and back.
Courtney Shelton was the "Day Of" coordinator for our wedding on 10/10. She was everything I expected and more! During the days leading up to our wedding, she was always available via email/phone. She came to the venue to look around and really understand my vision. On the day of, she assisted the other vendors by keeping them all on the same page, kept an eye out on the food/alcohol, and altogether just aided with the flow of our ceremony and reception. I would recommend her services over and over again! She also does floral- and I highly recommend it!! Just beautiful!

She is creative and is all around amazing at what she does. My wife and I could not have had a more stress free experience at our wedding from start to finish if it wasn’t for her.
Taylor was fantastic! Even with a short time before our wedding she really helped put It together and it was wonderful! She worked extremely hard and we will be in debited to her for everything she did for our wedding. Five star experience!

I was a very "hands off" bride as I was accepted into law school after my husband and I already set our wedding day. Emmetria connected us with a fabulous caterer (Queenie's Delectable Delights) and super awesome photographers (Mia & Taffy). I needed a wedding planner that could literally just tell me when to show up and what to do (especially after I learned that my midterms were scheduled to begin the Monday AFTER my wedding weekend). We had a fabulous wedding. I am still getting compliments from our guests on the fact that our ceremony and reception were so well coordinated. I went "bridezilla in reverse" because I was so apathetic about the details of my wedding the closer the date approached. I had to step away from 95% of the planning 60-days out from the date to prepare for my first semester of law school. I do not recommend starting law school and getting married at the same time; but, if you must, your wedding is safe with Emmetria. Also, we live in Houston and Emmetria lives in Austin. She drove to Houston for our initial consultation and after we hired her, I never felt like I was working with an out-of-town wedding planner. Ahh Emmetria, I know I gave her hell, but she was 100% professional from beginning to end. My husband and I had several "freak out" moments but Emmetria let our irrational moments of insanity slide right off her shoulders.
Velvet Oasis made everything perfect for my wedding. I didnt have to do anything except tell what I wanted and they made it happen. It was beautiful and in place ready to go on time.
Where do I begin? From the moment I walked into the store I knew was in the right place. The staff was so helpful in planning my son's birthday party. From the balloon and decoration selections to rentals like the bounce house and tables/chairs; it was definitely the best place to go. I will definitely use this party store for future events!
