Molding or baseboards,
Angel was very quick to respond to a home improvement emergency. I hired a handyman to replace an exterior door frame. Half way through the job, the handyman needed medical attention and was unable to complete the job. This left me with a large door sized hole in the back of my house. Angel was here in less than an hour. Despite the difficulty fitting a three piece frame kit, Angel completed the job by days end. I now have a working door. Thanks again Angel.Feb 20, 2018Verified
Angel did an amazing job. He build a custom gate for our backyard and came out perfect! A+ quality and great response time. Using him for various projects around the house including fixing our backyard fence. We are employing angel as our long term handymanApr 15, 2016Verified
Angel was awesome! He gave fair prices, performed the work as soon as he could, gave honest feedback (won't try to get you to do something you don't need) and was a super hard worker! On top of that he is a VERY nice guy. I have read horror stories, so thankful our first time using a handyman was with Angel. We will absolutely be using him for our future needs!!Jun 2, 2016Verified
Angel is a professional, reliable, multifaceted handyman. He does general labor, electric work, plumbing and painting. If he can't do a job, he will be honest and upfront about it. I'm thankful to have found someone who takes pride in his work and does what he says he is going to do. His pricing is fair and he always gives up-front estimates. I would highly recommend Angel to anyone needing help. ____UPDATE___ On the first visit, my review above stands. Now his girlfriend Lisa is taking charge of bids and when I asked for him to return, bid price skyrocketed and became non-negotiable. Next time I will request faster turn-around time for bids so I'm not left in a jam. I am due with my first child in 2 weeks and I have a huge list of projects for Angel to complete (and I was so happy with his work before) but now I'm left in a bind to find someone else.Aug 4, 2017VerifiedBuilding for Better Improvement's reply
THIS RESPONSE IS DUE TO THE DECREASE OF STARS FOR THE FIRST JOB COMPLETED. THIS REVIEW WAS DECREASED TO THREE STARS DUE TO THE CUSTOMER REQUESTING ANOTHER JOB, BUT WAS UNSATISFIED WITH THE QUOTE. Shelly, it is unfortunate we were unable to return to finish the list you requested to get done in the time crunch that you are in. We enjoyed working with you and were eager to continue to do so. We rearranged our schedule and delayed other paying repeat customers to appease your delicate situation. Per our prior conversation and urgency, we scheduled you and were ready to work on August 7th, but your boyfriend said he had other estimates in the works after we submitted our standard prices. Angel quotes as he sees fit. We work together as a team and we support each other to run a modest business. Thank you for the opportunity for working for you the first time after you mentioned we became your third choice because the previous hires didn't show up or never returned. As we discussed everything through private messages earlier, we appreciate your current feedback. The best of luck to you and your family. Again, we truly apologize for any misunderstandings or inconveniences. Sincerely, Lisa and Angel
Drywall Repair and Texturing
Dry wall repair, patching, texturing, painting. We recently moved into a new home and had custom closet built. The company took out the parts installed by the builder, but does not offer dry wall repair service. I hired Angel out of 4 companies that did estimate for the drywall repair. Angel offered a reasonable price that was comparable to others. He was accountable, reliable, sincere, and did an excellent job. He showed and updated me on his progress while he was repairing the dry walls. I would definitely hire him again if we need a handyman in the future.May 28, 2016Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do not have a standard pricing system for my service. It depends on the scope of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My typical process for working with a new customer is communicate with them to be able to meet at the desired location of the project. Walk through with them and give an estimate of what I see will need to be done. Fill out a detailed invoice to present to them for confirmation we both understand cost and the time it will take before getting a down payment to schedule the work at their convenience while keeping them happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My education and/or training will be my 20 plus years of experience having known the trade all my life. It is important to me to be a good craftsman in every job that I complete.
