About this pro
I often see personal trainers treating their clients like they're on a football team. While this may motivate many people, I prefer to create an atmosphere of friendship and equality. I want my clients to be happy to see me, rather than fear me. Almost all of my clients in Los Angeles stayed with me for up to 4 years, so I'm confident that I am able to establish trust and consistency. I think we all had something that we daydreamed about while sitting in Social Studies class. I designed workouts. I loved the way they looked on a page, and I loved trying them out on myself to see if they worked. I never planned to turn that doodling into a career, but here I am. Most importantly, it gives me a chance to be of service to others. In my opinion, there is nothing in life more rewarding.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It varies depending on distance, length of session, and session frequency.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Ordinarily I will spend a few minutes asking questions about a client's specific goals, exercise history, etc. Then I will take them through a basic movement evaluation to get an idea of the fitness intensity that the client will be able to tolerate. After that I'll usually take them through some fundamental kickboxing movement so that they can have a little fun.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Every couple of years I will take a subset credential course. Beyond my Certified Personal Trainer certificate, I am a Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning Specialist, and a Fitness Nutrition Specialist. But I am always researching things whether it gives me a piece of paper or not.
