We love Anita and will definitely be calling her again for future pet sitting. She went above and beyond to care for our 3 dogs and our home. 😃❤️May 8, 2019Verified
Excellent experience. We will (and already have) call Anita any time we need a sitter. Communicative and thorough, professional and compassionate. We have and will continue to recommend her to anyone we know who needs pet sitting.Aug 1, 2017Verified
Anita did a great job taking care of our babies (two cats) while we were on vacation. Anita is a great communicator, constantly keeps you informed, and send lots of pics and videos. We've already rebooked Anita for our future pet sitting needs.Jul 12, 2017
Anita provides daily photos and detailed progress reports that are fun to read and show you that your pet is in very loving capable hands. Would definitely use her pet sitting services again and would highly recommend her to others!Aug 2, 2017Verified
Anita's simply the best. She is caring, responsive and kept us informed on how our pet was doing while we traveled. We'd give her six stars if we could.May 3, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I generally have a flat rate for most visits and that's a per visit fee. However, if there will be multiple visits in one day, I will reduce the fee. In other words, I am flexible within reason. I certainly don't want the owners to be overwhelmed by the cost of pet care.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? One of the first things I like to do I'd to speak to the owner by phone, naturally. I believe this way allows the owner to get a feel for what kind of person I am. Next step is to set up an appointment to meet the owner and their pets. Now the owner has the chance to see how I interact with their pet. Also, to see how the pet receives me. We all know how animals sense things about a person. From there, I sit with the owner and discuss what they want to see done and how they want the visit(s)to go. Yes, I have my way of doing things, but I'd rather know how my clients want things done. I am all about your peace of mind.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I grew up on a farm and we raised all kinds of animals. In fact I have had pets of different sorts most of my life. I began pet caring for them when I lived in Texas starting in 1996. I also did rescues and rehoming. In 1987 I graduated from Medical Assistant school but continued to pet sit I worked in a veterinary office in California to learn more about animals and the care they need. Also, I am currently taking on line course for Veterinary assistant.
