Terry is a great Personal Trainer. His experience with physical fitness regiments complimentary with his physiotherapy knowledge makes a work out truly a work out. He listens and adapts his techniques to the individual. We have had a great experience so far and are looking forward to achieving our fitness goals with Terry's 1x1 coaching.
Thomas is an excellent trainer and it was very evident from the get go that he is very passionate about what he does. I had initially contacted Thomas concerning my chronic knee problems and my desire to go back to high intensity, aggressive activities after my latest ACL reconstruction. From the moment I first contacted him, he showed he was very professional, open, compassionate and experienced. He is very good at encouraging, pushing and progressively challenging when needed in a careful, safe way but will also advise to back off and be patient when Iâm not quite ready to safely do something while encouraging that I will eventually be able to do that activity when my body is ready. Thomas is very thorough he is consistently assessing and guiding progress as well as form from all angles during training sessions. He will make sure you understand how to and are fully capable of correctly performing an exercise unassisted, on your own before assigning it. He will check up on me if I donât inform him how my body is doing after a newly intense training session also if I get very sore or if a body part gets injured or decides to act up and keep tabs on the progress. I was very impressed during some of our first interactions, how thorough he was in trying to gather as much background information and history as possible concerning the issues I had sought him for. This included past physical therapy visits, evaluations and exercises and relevant medical records. He tries to make himself available and is very willing to work with you and your schedule. He is very accessible and doesnât mind when I would go to him outside of appointment time and will try to give the time necessary to help you with what you need and never makes you feel rushed or like you are bugging him. The same goes for texting; he would thoroughly and quickly answer his texts Thomas is a very good an knowledgeable resource, I often use him as a resource to check if my body is ready to safely do or start easing into an activity I want to do (like running or grappling) or if I need to be patient and wait a little longer and if I have questions about training, exercises, fitness, nutrition, etc.. He is open to questions at any time and will thoroughly explain his answers to make sure you understand It is quite evident that Thomas is the most interested in helping you to have a healthy body and to reach your fitness goals. He tries to make training as affordable as possible he would inform me of gym training package deals when they occur and tries to find ways to make the training package as affordable as possible. He often tries to work with you and your schedule and will move things around if need be to find a training schedule that works. His approach to training is very holistic and, although we focus on the knees as the main issue, he also helps to fix other imbalances or deficiencies that he or I might find through training. He also works to just to improve the whole body as a whole. He also advises on other elements that affect the body including on diet and nutrition to help make sure the body is getting the right amount and type of nutrients and energy it needs for it to be able to do what it needs to and give you the results you want. In the 6 months or so that I have actively trained with Thomas, I and several people around me have seen great improvement and positive changes. His he is very straight forward in a kind way and his training sessions are always very positive, challenging and fun.
Isreal is the first trainer that I ever have and I could not have picked a better one (out of 5 I reached out). I started out with no fitness training experience and a dormant life style. He worked with me patiently with much consideration to my personal needs and life style change. Business side, he showed good ethics and very honest in handling billing etc. He was able to keep the activities interesting enough to keep me motivated. He is not the cheer leader type but his style fit me well and made me comfortable from the beginning. At the end of 4 month training, I have lost 20 lbs and 2 sizes with minimum diet effort. I started out with having to drag my feet to the gym to now I look forward to the session at the end of the day. I feel that I have more energy to play with my kids and am proud of my strength during my everyday activities. For example, in a recent trip to Hawaii, I was able to hike a mountain with much ease, which would be a very daunting task for me in my previous experience. That feeling is very good. I still have a long way to go to reach my goal but I am more confident now that I will get there having Isreal fuel started my process. He is now moving to a new location that is even better equipped. I highly recommend Isreal to anyone who is considering a trainer.
Jose is a great trainer. He greets me when I come into the gym and motivates me so I get the most of my workout. I have been training with him for a few months but already can see a difference in how I look and more importantly how I feel.
During my quest to find the best trainer out there for my needs, I found Alex Hernandez. I knew from my research that the qualities I was looking for in a trainer included experience, education, personality, the ability to communicate well and professionalism. I met with/spoke to several trainers through Thumbtack and outside of Thumbtack that unfortunately were lacking one or more of these qualities until I met with Alex who, as it turned out, had all the qualities I was looking for in a trainer. It also didn’t hurt that he offered a couple of free sessions. (I know this is a rather wordy review but if you are like me and prefer to do your due diligence before hiring a trainer, I think it’s worth the read.) Experience: Yes, having years of experience is great, which Alex has but what I most valued about Alex’s experience is that he had been through the same struggle of losing weight and figuring out how to establish and maintain a healthier lifestyle as I am going through now. Because of this, I felt Alex had a unique perspective as a trainer and would be able to better understand my struggle with losing weight and be better equipped to assist me through that struggle. Experience was also very important to me as I was coming to the table with several injuries that any trainer I selected would have to have the know-how on how to handle those injuries during training while still allowing me to make regular progress. After a couple of complimentary sessions with Alex, there was no doubt he had the necessary experience to help me. Education: In addition to having over a decade of experience in personal training, Alex also had the appropriate credentials. One of these credentials was particularly important to me, his NASM certification as a Weight Loss Specialist. (FYI - You can check a trainer’s credentials on the NASM website.) Beyond his certification education, Alex also educated himself on me. Alex took the time to ask me questions and learn about me, what I wanted to accomplish with training, what injuries or medical issues I had, what concerns I had, what my day-to-day life was like and what my nutrition looked like. For me, this meant Alex was asking all the right questions to educate himself on how best to help me. Personality: If you’re looking for a trainer who will yell at you like a drill sergeant, then Alex isn’t the trainer for you. If you’re looking for a trainer to handle you with kid gloves and baby you, then again, Alex isn’t the trainer for you. If you are looking for a happy medium between the two with a few jokes and quotes of encouragement thrown in, then Alex is for you. Alex is encouraging yet pushes you beyond your limits just enough every time so every session always contains progress. When I first started working with Alex, there was a particular exercise that he had to modify in order for me to complete. Recently, I was able to complete this exercise, multiple reps, without modification and he was more excited about it then I was. Who wouldn’t want a trainer like that, someone who is excited for you and your progress. Communication: Alex has been great about communicating with me since day one. I tend to have a lot of questions and Alex has always been very good about answering those questions for me whether during our training sessions or via text (in a timely manner). Unlike some trainers, he does not brush off your questions. Alex will regularly check on me after a session to make sure none of my injuries were exacerbated due to the session. It was important to find someone I could communicate well with because I knew my injuries would be a constant issue and I needed to be comfortable enough talking with my trainer and expressing when I felt the pain from a pre-existing injury was too much and/or when I felt I was just incapable of doing an exercise due to my injuries without feeling I was being judged by my trainer. I have found Alex to be very easy to communicate with. Professionalism: The last quality on my list was professionalism. I have had trainers who were physically inappropriate with me, I have had trainers who would talk badly about their other clients either in front of me to another person or directly to me, I’ve had trainers that would spend majority of my session texting/playing on their phone and paying no attention to me at all. I have never had any of these issues with Alex. During our training sessions, he has always conducted himself in a professional manner making sure the focus is always on me and my training. I honestly believe Alex is worth every penny as a trainer. I’m very happy I found him, that I have had the opportunity to work with him and that I now know what it is like to work with a real trainer. **As of this review, I have worked with Alex for 8 weeks. **I have lost inches and pounds and have gained muscle and strength. **Several aches and pains I had prior to my training with Alex has dissipated. (I used to get terrible ankle and shin pain walking to and from work every day which has subsided substantially since training with Alex.)
Jerell is an amazing trainer and pushes me out of my comfort zone so I can be better! As a fitness instructor, I know what to do but need that extra push and encouragement to go harder and longer and get better results!
Ricky is a very personable, professional and reliable personal trainer who is helping me achieve my goals of long term weight loss and strength training. He tailors fitness regimes to the individual and varies the routine on a weekly basis so it never becomes tedious. I highly recommend Ricky if you are serious about getting fit and want a trainer who will go that extra mile to help you reach your goals.

Akshay really pushes you in a good way, and is also big on good form which I really appreciate. I also appreciate the schedule flexibility, and that he finds a way for my husband and I can work out at the same time, but with individualized weights and exercises. He's been training my husband and I for about 2 years now. I especially like his teamwork exercises that he's had my husband and I do together.
I have been training with Will for just over 3 weeks now. In that short time, I have already learned so much, and I feel strongly that working with Will is one of the best health decisions that I have made. Will teaches me the fundamentals of strength training and fitness that many other trainers overlook the need to do. He helps me to understand the basics of how and why my body works the way that it does before, during and after training. Will is patient, committed, cognizant of my abilities; and he literally works beside me and with me throughout my workouts unlike other trainers who walk away from their clients and/or act indifferent during training. Will is always actively engaged in his sessions and is more than worth the investment in my health. I have been training with Fitness Stop for more than 2 years. Following their nutrition guide and training with Robert, I lost 30 pounds and went from flabby to strong. I have never had such great abs. The best part is that the trainer comes to you, so you don't have to motivate yourself to get to the gym. All the trainers that I have worked with have taken me through challenging and efficient workouts. They are always friendly and encouraging. Working with Fitness Stop is actually fun!

Ashleigh was chosen from a bundle of personal trainers to be our official trainer for our Real Women, Real Results Houston weight loss contest for I-REMOVE. She did wonderfully! Each of the ladies she worked with had so many amazing and great things to say about her too. All together they lost 48lbs across 4 ladies and that is wonderful! She worked with them on an individual basis and even put together a home routine for one contestant that couldn't make sessions. She did everything in her ability to help these ladies succeed and worked with various levels of fitness too. Ashleigh has even helped our company (InQpharm North America) internally by giving our office material for blogs, and helping us to come up with some in office exercises we can do to stay moving all day. You can't go wrong hiring Ashleigh, she was wonderful.
After my first baby my main concern was to recover my physical appearance. Too much weight, belly dar,...it was awful. When you are looking for a personal trainer, you expect he to help you but José goes far beyond. He becomes a friend with the best advices, a father worrying about you. He helps you to overcome your expectations every day. He also has a vast knowledge about nutrition and training. He likes to share posts with clients about fitness and health. Definitely more that you would expect.

Khanh is very knowledgeable and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. In our initial meeting we discussed my personal fitness goals and he tailored workouts to my fitness level and those goals. Whether your goals are weight loss, increased stamina and/or strength, better core strength, etc. or just general overall fitness, he can tailor a program for you. Also, I found him to be very safetly conscious in the sense of avoiding injuries and pain, while at the same time pushing me enough so that my exertion levels were a high enough level for me to reach my goals. I also always found him to be sociable and friendly; easy to work with and talk to.
Mac was my instructor for a semester-long boot camp class through our university. I was initially hesitant about the class because I had never participated in one before, and I have some joint issues that I knew I would have to work around. Mac went above and beyond what I could have imagined from an instructor. He made everyone in the class feel welcomed, no matter what their fitness or experience level was. And he was more than happy to work with me, and other students, to help us adjust our work out to get the same results without aggravating injuries. I never thought that I would say I enjoyed a boot camp class as much as I did!
Alan is a professional trainer who tailored training and workout program acording to my health goals. His training helped me to reduce my medications, build my body strength and enjoy my workouts. I always feel rejuvinated after my workout session with his program. He is very friendly,highly focussed maintains professionalism and work ethics, always motivates me to do better in every training session. He is my best personal trainer and will remain that way.
