Rick & his sub-contractor Carlos came out for an estimate and within a week Carlos came back out to perform the work. He did a good job re-caulking the master shower, re-caulking the kitchen backspash, and cleaning the grout in the kitchen. I would use them again for general contractor work. Thanks.
Within 4.5 hours Carl replaced two 40 yr old toilets with good low-flow toilets he went out and found for a price $90 lower than low-end regular toilets. He installed a new garbage disposal, leveled the dishwasher, fixed a light in the exhaust fan over the stove, caulked a space in the bathtub and analysed the drainage problem in a bathtub.
Mr. Jones made my very dirty rental property bathtub/shower combos look great again. I do wish that he'd had time to stay and caulk them as well. I feel that should've been included in the price/job but he was off to another job. He is a very busy man.
Service was excellent. Silva replaced a broken window, screens, and beading. The final finish on everything repaired was excellent. Will definitely recommend to anyone needing repairs.
Very quick and helpful with skim coat/texturing our walls and caulking/painting.
Our home is starting to get to that age were we need little touch ups here and there. Caulking, nail pops, filling small cracks and paint to name a few. Christopher Reimann responded quickly to our request on Thumbtack. After visiting our home he provided a very reasonable quote. Both he and his father, Sean Reimann, arrived the very next day to begin the job. In all the work took about 3 hours. Christopher and Sean were very professional throughout the entire process. They both went above and beyond - even doing last minute things that we had found after the original service request. To summarize, after going through the entire process with Reimann & Reimann, there is no doubt in my mind that these are now "my guys" for all handy man work around my home. I know this sounds like a cliche, but they really did treat us like family. The time and consideration they put into the work couldn't have been more thorough if they had been working on their own homes.
I would like to share that I thought my fence built in 2006 was pretty much ready to be tossed, but I called Bud Goff (he does fences/decks/home repair), and he did an amazing job of adding MANY, MANY more years of life to my fence. He powerwashed it and my driveway (which turned out to be super dirty), he repaired broken posts, broken pickets, added a middle third rail for support and stained/sealed it. All of this for a fraction of the cost of a new fence. Really fair prices. He even caulked up some open seams on the side of my house to be nice. He came out the day after I called him, gave me a quote and finished the project quickly. He arrived early each day of the project. His phone number is 512-939-1182, in case you need it.
I would definitely use Marie again for caulking and other small jobs.
We are very pleased with the look of our bathroom. Felipe was easy to work with and did his best to make sure we got the design we wanted. We received quotes from several contractor between $8,500 to $43,000. Felipe quote was not the lowest but in the range we thought was reasonable for our size bathroom. Our project had several set backs which were no ones fault: The tub filler we selected had a design flaw, which required some redesign. The sink drains didn't work the way we hoped and had to order replacements. The tub showed up with a crack and we had to order a replacement. Felipe worked with us through each issue and did his best to guide us to a solution. One of the great things about working with Filipe was the fact he knows some very good subcontractors. The company he recommended to do the show glass, did a great job at half the cost other companies quoted for the same work. Plus we got a lifetime warranty on the glass and workmanship. With every project there's always the 90/10 rule. 90% of the work is straight forward and fairly easy to complete. The rest of the work is more tedious and requires time. There were a couple of areas I thought the work could have been better: The pony wall tile was not cut straight and left ragged grout edges (picture). The retexturing could have been better if not rushed (picture). The caulking around the tub, particularly behind the tub was very poorly done. For the price, I really don't have anything to complain about. This was our first project hiring a contractor to do a project. We learned some important lessons. 1) Create a check list of work items. This will help make sure there are no disagreements on what is and isn't part of the contract. 2) Inspect the work regularly. It's only your fault if the works not done correctly. 3) Don't pay until the work is done to your satisfaction. 4) Get everything in writing including the warranty. I can't say enough how happy we are with the new bathroom. I have other property in Austin and I will use Felipe for future projects.
We hired MJ to handle caulking/sealing in our new house. She was a pleasure to work with! Very communicative, kind, and made sure the work was executed well/thoroughly. Excited to hire her for future projects.
Tom repaired the drip guard on our shower door for a great price. He even re-caulked it and drilled holes into it to prevent it from coming off again. I will definitely use him again.
Had a new door installed with a pet door added. He did a great job making sure the pet door was perfect. New trim and caulk really helped make it all look good.
Darrel was on time and did an excellent job on repairs to our sunroom. He was also able to provide some tips on other maintenance issues.
Richard Murphy is clean, prompt, efficient and very affordable. Gave me a ballpark estimate on the phone, and when he showed up to make a final estimate, the bid was $100 less than his ballpark. He threw in a couple of other chores I needed done for good measure. The work he did for me: Cleaned exterior brick chimney, front walk, front porch, side brick wall and fence. Caulked skylights over the deck. Repaired and painted two soffetts that had suffered water damage. Checked gutters, but they didn't need cleaning. I'm quite happy with the work he did and have referred him to many friends and neighbors already. Thanks, Richard!
Mr. Alatorre did some caulking work in my bathrooms. Nice thorough job. Will hire him in the future :)
I have known John for almost 40 years. We grew up across the street from each other here in San Antonio. When my parents passed, it came time to sell the house I grew up in. The house needed lots of work. John was there and came through. He replaced the entire siding, including painting and caulking the interior and exterior of the house. The house appraised for $10,000 more than the contract price. I highly recommend John for any home improvement needs.
Im Really happy With the remodeling that the guys of Reynas remodeling did in my house nice guys hard workers and they gave me a good deal i really Recommended thanks guys
Danny helped my wife and I prepare our home to sell by sealing and caulking the entire exterior, repainting the entire interior, and a few inside repairs. Danny provided outstanding workmanship and was very responsive! Highly recommend for all of your painting needs! v/r, Allen V. Cheesman CSM, US Army Retired
Art The Painter did an amazing job of transforming the curb appeal of my house. He is the hardest worker I've ever seen. Art arrived on time each day and worked hard all day long. He is friendly, trustworthy, and very professional. Art power washed, caulked, painted, and did trim work making my house look brand new! I would have no hesitations at hiring him to do more painting. If you need professional painting done, Art is the man for you. Kathryn Moss
mike and his crew have done a excellent job on repairing all aspects of hail damage to my home. They have replaced all my siding with hardy,my tin roof and caulked and painted in true professional fashion. I would highly recommend them for your home repair or new build projects
Larry did a great job. He repaired the grout and caulking in my master shower. He also repaired some cracks in my dry wall. He did a great job re-texturing the dry wall. It blends seemlessly with the original.
