Ms. Wilder, is unprofessional, she came to our house and did not do ANYTHING, but take our money. I have called to reschedule or to receive my money back, but she will not answer my calls. We removed all the furniture because we were moving. She didn't vacuum, she didn't do baseboards, no showers, didn't mop the floors, didn't clean the refrigerator, stove or oven. She didn't do anything in the home and she won't answer our calls. I would not recommend her to anyone and I will definately report her to the BBB. I am actually entertaining the thought of taking her to court for the return of my money. I'm sure she will respond to this review, as she doesn't answer phone calls. I don't think she even deserves one star, but it won't let me post without at least giving one star, so I'm giving it duress.....
Peg's Perfectly Polished Cleaning Service's reply
This review is untrue. Lisa F. had nothing to do with my hiring, meeting me at the residence, or paying me. I did however speak with her and explain what I cleaned in the over four hours I was at her residence. The above review is from her using Vincent F.'s account as well. It is unfortunate she was unhappy with the services she had no part in orchestrating, however she is entitled to her opinion. I have the reviews on this page, as well as references from the homes that have hired me on as a regular weekly cleaner after their first experience with me! Please contact me, and do not let these untrue statements sway your opinion! I wish you the best Mrs. Fuller.

I'm very sorry to have to take back my glowing review of Tayla. She was great the first few times, but things went downhill, especially today. I hired her originally for 300 a month to come to my house twice a week for approximately 20 hours a week. Via text, she agreed. Then after the first visit where she did do a great job, she said twice a week would be difficult. I agreed due to the fact she did such a good job, and agreed on 3-4 hours once weekly for 300 still. We were left a note after one visit that she didn't complete the list because she had already been there for 3 hours "and didn't have time." I got past it, but it was right before Christmas and I had to take the time to complete the extra work before company. Both my husband and I work full time and have two kids under 26 months, so that's why we hire someone to do the things we don't have time for. So coming home and having to do things that didn't get done was not planned. Then last week she only stayed for 1 hour 15 minutes, which we know from our security cameras, and she didn't vacuum, mop, or the other MAJOR things you expect to have done with housecleaning. She said her stepdaughter was in the hospital, which is tragic, and understandable she had to leave, but she left that explanation on a note so I didn't see it until I got home late with two babies. I was in tears because I then had to spend two to three hours that evening doing what she didn't do. If she had just text or called when she left I would have understood and tried to get home before picking up the kids to get it done. She did take the 75 check though.... So I asked her yesterday if she wanted to make up the time by working 6.5 hours today, or if she would rather work the usual 3-4 hours, and I would leave a reduced amount. Enthusiastically over text she agreed to 10am- 4:30 pm and doing extra work. So I spent time last night writing out a long list and left another $75 check. I text her around 10:30 this morning and said I would be coming home early sick, but would stay completely out of her way if she could clean the study for me, I'd stay in there so she could work in peace. She responded by saying "sounds good." I came home, didn't see her car, and came in to a note stating she quit, but that since "she's an honest person she left the $75 check" and did the first 10 things on the list which was basically cleaning the kitchen, to make up for leaving early last week. No vacuuming, nothing else in any other room of the 4 bedroom house was done. My husband had been home while she was there, and she didn't say a word to him about quitting only 30 minutes later. He did see her phone on the counter and that she had taken a camera photo of my cleaning list, which he thought was weird. So I come home with the flu to nothing really done! And how we figure it, we paid her $75 for 2.5 hours of work the past two weeks with 50-90% of things not done. I text her and told her taking $75 from us last week was basically criminal and theft for only doing 2.5 hours work. She took money for work not done. She disagreed and said she was not an hourly employee. Funny how she is an hourly employee when she doesn't have time to do things before Christmas bc she had already worked 3 hours, but she's not an hourly employee when taking $75 for 2.5 hours work, which is $30 an hour. And funny how in the note she claimed to be an honest person, but just 16 hours ago agreed to work 6.5 hours today and then had multiple chances today to tell my husband or I this wouldn't work for her, but didn't say a word except leaving a note. So, I wish I would have taken earlier reviews on here seriously. I should know that if someone takes the time to come on and leave a bad review, they've obviously been pushed to it, like me today. I would be more than happy to discuss this with anyone wanting a review, call 210-849-4134. I just don't understand how someone could be so dishonest and leave me, and my family who suffers from this too, in this situation when she had multiple opportunities to let us know her intentions sooner. I do find her taking $75 last week for 2.5 hours work theft as services not rendered, and though it's relatively small amount, the principle is making me investigate ways to get my money. I offered to pay her $40 (still over $18 an hour) for the work, but she responded by saying she would not be bullied by me. If you do decide to take a chance with her, let me advise you to be home she's there and to have a very exact contract specifying pay and expectations. I was obviously too trusting. Knowing she took a picture of my cleaning list, does make me wonder if she took pictures of other things in my home to use against me. I hope not, but chance I'm willing to take to leave this review and keep others from being in my situation. The only explanation I can think of for her behavior today is she saw my long cleaning list and decided she just didn't want to do the work. Good luck to others. But I have the name of my first cleaning person who just decided she was going to start cleaning again and is so honest! For the record, this is the second time in 10-15 years if internet use I have ever taken the time to leave negative feedback. Sigh.
Peg's Perfectly Polished Cleaning Service's reply
This review simply proves there are those clients out there who are amazing until you make them unhappy, and then they are out to ruin a reputation based on their own personal agenda. I invite anyone reading this review to note the first glowing review she left. At this point, she was happy with all services provided because I was going above and beyond for her including: driving 30 miles to clean her home, changing and washing bed sheets weekly, taking care of her dogs, cats, etc. She was nice enough to leave me lists which were very helpful. However, the lists got longer and longer for $75 a visit. I would like to note her home is 4 bedroom, with three sitting areas, and 3 bathrooms. I was graciously cleaning this extensive home for $75 a week. Including laundry service, and scooping and replacing her cat litter. I did not complain, and I did not ask for more money. The first incident she is reviewing negatively was that I was unable to make one bed because her dryer constantly stopped between cycles, and I did not want to put wet sheets on her bed. I had been at the house for three hours that day. The second incident, I had an emergency and had to leave after 1.5 hours. I did return and did half of her list and worked another 2 hours to cover the time I had missed. This is the point where I did not take payment from her because I simply made up the 3 hours. Her calling me a crook, and other negative feedback from her is inappropriate, and untrue. She is one unhappy client out of at least 20 due to the fact she did not get her way. I wish her the best, but it is unfortunate she is dishonest to make her self - entitled self feel better.

UPDATE FROM LAST REVIEW: I stopped payment on the $75 check to Ms. Wilder that she cashed at an Ace Cash Express immediately after receiving the money. I contacted the Cash Express, expressing my concern that she never completed the job for which she was paid, and was advised by the employee I spoke with to stop payment on my check, and they would contact her to make her repay the $75 as the check would be void. I went ahead and put a stop payment on the check through my bank. But wanting to pay her for the little work she did as was fair, I used paypal to send her the $40 I told her I would pay her, to the paypal address she had requested payment through previously for cleaning. I have been contacted by Ace Cash Express asking for further contact information for Ms. Wilder because she is not returning any of their calls or other correspondence asking her to return the $75 payment. So, essentially she has now taken $75 without services rendered, failed to return the $75 to the company, and has taken the $40 I was trying to fairly pay her, equaling $115 of money taken for 2.5 hours of cleaning. Perhaps my bad for assuming she would do the right thing and return the $75 to Cash Express, but I wanted to be fair and pay her for the 2.5 hours she did work. Cash Express said they will continue to pursue retrieving the $75 from her, so we'll see what happens. I guess if Ms. Wilder is so desperate for money she has done all this, she must really need it, and I can look at it as charity. Again, I hope I am just warning others from getting into my same situation.
Peg's Perfectly Polished Cleaning Service's reply
This also is untrue. This is also the second time a client has used a second account to leave a second nasty review. But I am the one being accused of dishonesty? I was given permission by her via text to cash the check. She then was upset that I told her I would no longer be cleaning for her and cancelled the check out of spite. The check situation is resolved. Her bad karma due to being dishonest about me, slandering my business, calling me a crook, and attacking me by saying I deserve charity is not. I wish her the best with that. AGAIN, PLEASE NOTE THIS IS HER 3RD REVIEW. I HAVE A LIST OF REFERENCES WHO CAN BE CONTACTED BY PHONE TO VOUCH FOR MY CHARACTER, AND CLEANING ABILITIES! Please do not let the continuous rants of one unhappy client sway you away. :)

We just moved into a home that was left a mess by previous tenants. We needed to get in and Deep Clean everything. We called Peg's Perfectly Polished Cleaning Service. Work was completed two days later as scheduled. She was willing to focus on the areas that were needing the most attention. The master bath was the most difficult with years of soap residue and hard water stains on the glass shower doors and tiled areas. She was willing to return the next day when she herself was not satisfied with the result of the master bath. On the second day she came prepared to tackle those problem areas. The house looked great upon completion. Thanks Tayla for your hard work! I know it was no easy task.
