FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unless it is a flat-fee case, billing is per an hourly fee schedule: Senior attorneys bill at one rate. Associate attorneys bill at one rate. Certified paralegals have one rate. Legal assistants have one rate. Expenses are tracked and billed back to the client. The initial retainer fee secures firm availability and acts as a deposit from which time and expenses are drawn until the retainer is exhausted.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our staff is dedicated to getting to know our clients on a personal basis. We can set up an initial consultation in the office or over the phone. This will allow us to determine what needs to be done on your case. If there is a consultation fee, it is applied toward a retainer. Initial retainers are based on the complexity and needs of each case.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
12 years of experience, having handled hundreds of cases in our area.
