My son needed help with math and when I started shopping around I found private tutors to be expensive which was discouraging until I found Planting Seeds Tutoring!!! We worked with Chris to set a clear goal path and we were matched with Hannah as our tutor. Planting Seeds aka Hannah has been a blessing to us. Hannah is incredible!! She has this ability to drag my son out of his teen mode and get him to interact and have fun while tutoring. Some days are harder than others but Hannah doesn't give up! Its only been a few months and my sons math grade has already improved at school. I highly recommend Planting Seeds Tutoring they will work with you to ensure you get the service you need. They are not just selling a product they actually care and want to help you accomplish your goals. Not only are they service friendly but also affordable. Chris has worked with my on every level to ensure nothing would get in the way of my son getting the help he needed. Hannah has been great and flexible with our crazy weekly schedules and is always wiling to accommodate us. I'm excited to see what Planting Seeds will help my son achieve. Thank you Chris & Hannah!!!

My daughter always seemed to have panic attacks leading up to tests. I was desperate to find a way for her to be comfortable especially as SATs were coming up. All I can say is after a few weeks with the tutors and life coaches at Chelsea International Education, my daughter’s confidence level went up a lot. She was not only prepared to take her SATs but her core academic skills have improved tremendously, which has helped her with her AP exams. The fact that all of the Chelsea tutors are fully qualified teachers, I think makes a major difference and really sets them apart. It really is a quality service and I am very happy to recommend them to anyone.

Couple of words that come to my mind immediately when I recall my experience of learning English and getting prepared for IELTS exam with Lusine Shakhnazaryan are: encouragement, motivation, individual approach, philosophy of language, fun.

I was failing. Period! I was at a loss on how to pass Economics. I was assigned Mr. Ramiro and we sat and he went over the syllabus, and he talked and questioned me a lot! The next meeting he had assignments for me, While I did them he would review my notes and give me additional homework. But he would give me practice exams. I was taking 12 hours plus tutoring and the homework was crazy. But Mr. Mata drilled me and explained everything at my level and not at the doctorate level so well I went from an "F" to a final grade of a "C". If I would have had him before midterms, I may have gotten a "B" or an "A"! And he is a tutor for other courses in which I will request his services! Paul D. Ms. Costello is an extremely patient teacher. She tests the student's understanding and plans her sessions accordingly. We are extremely glad to have hired her to teach English to my little sister who is traveling to the USA. In just 2 classes, I could see how she was able to adapt to the speaking style with some of the commonly spoken phrases. Ms. Costello's focus was to make her fluent by not just speaking the right sentence but speaking the right way. I really recommend her for hiring irrespective of what level of English the student comes from. She can model her session around the student's capability and learning capacity and still show a successful outcome in just a short span.

Like any other ESL student from a non English country speaker of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Came with Swahili and other dialects languages started taking my ESL classes in Mark Keenum's class and became able to exit high school with all requirement in just few 2 years, I'm 100% recommending any student to him as a choice and will gain the same knowledge as I did . Mark likes what he does because learning was not easy. He was showing up to class earlier in the morning to make sure he helps all ESL student to learn and he was also staying after School as well. Was the first teacher being on time on our campus and stay later in order to help those who willing to learn. He personally taught me how to write, pronunciation, spelling, formulating a sentence, and I finally became able to pass my exit level of English test from Texas agency of Knowledge. I have no doubt for whoever willing to learn , having Mark is a good choice and will build you in all aspect.

Olivier is simply the best French teacher in town! He is a wonderful, passionate teacher. He appreciates challenging questions about grammar and is able to answer them in a way that makes sense, as he is fluent in both French and English. I highly recommend Olivier - his lessons are fun and high-yield for French students at any level.

Janelle helped my complete an essay for school. It was a really tough subject and I was having difficulty even starting it. I reached out for help when I was running out of time and Janelle came through. She was able to sit with me and explain the best way to outline my thoughts so the essay would be easy to write. I got an A on my paper, some great tips on how to write essays, AND now I have someone I can call in case I'm having trouble and its crunch time! Janelle was easy to talk to, easy to meet with, and hands down the best tutor I've had!!!

Mr Latimer is a great teacher! He tutored me from basic English class to SAT preparation. He is very responsible and patient. He helped me a lot with my reading and writing assignments even now I’m in college. He is very knowledgeable that he could tell you all about the wars and Shakespeare. Those topics might not sound interesting, but his sense of humor could make them fascinating!

          About

In addition to a master's degree in writing, I have over three years of experience in teaching rhetoric and composition at the university level. I am also a certified TEFL teacher (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and have tutored beginning English speakers. No two students are alike, and I find that tutoring provides the best opportunity to customize curriculum to the student's particular needs. With each lesson, I come prepared with more than one approach to learning the material, so that students are always learning through a method that best engages their particular skill sets. I love what I do and have found tutoring to be a rewarding experience for both student and teacher. I hope you'll consider me for your English tutoring needs.

          About

I am a certified special education teacher. Currently, I work as a substitute teacher while seeking full-time work. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in sociology a few years ago and completed teacher certification around the same time. For the last 8 years, my primary occupation has been in the field of special education. In my experience, it is not uncommon for people, children and adults alike, to struggle with proper English writing mechanics, reading comprehension, and mathematics at various levels. Math and English were always two subjects I really enjoyed, when I was in school. It is always rewarding for me when I am able to successfully help my students and clients develop a good grasp of these subjects. Reading, writing, and math are absolutely the most necessary foundational tools to be successful in any working environment. I want you to have these tools for yourself! My desire is to not only help you obtain these tools by developing stronger skills in English and math but also help you get these tools in your pocket by showing you how fun the learning process can be.
