- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No complicated pricing. You tell me the services you are interested in, tell me the budget you have for said services, and I put together a customized package just for you. The DJ/MC portion is easy. $150 an hour, minimum of 4 hours. The more services you add such as uplighting, customized Gobo monogram, and Bartending Services, the better your price gets.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into DJing originally as a Karaoke DJ. The place I went every Sunday to sing Karaoke was closing down the Karaoke portion of the club, and I offered to do it for free just to keep it open. I didn't want to lose my Sunday spot! From there, I branched off into Dance clubs, be it Country and Western, Top 40, and Hip Hop, I've had tenures at all of them. A friend asked me to help him DJ a wedding in 2003, and I fell in love. No other DJing I had ever done up until that point has given me the satisfaction I get from Hosting and DJing weddings.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common events I do are weddings, but have done all sorts of events, from Fashion Shows and Awards Ceremonies, to Proms and other school functions. In other words, whatever your plans, I got you!
