I enjoyed the guitar lesson. I believe I will be able to learn well from his instruction. I reconmmend him to anyone wanting lessons. God bless . Rev Joy
Trevor is a great teacher to my 13 year old son. He incorporates songs my son wants to learn and has a great demeanor. My son began electric guitar lessons with Trevor just 5 short months ago and his progress has been amazing! My son loves to practice the songs they choose together and already feels confident performing for friends and family. Trevor is the best!
I have enrolled my 6 year old for violin lessons with Dolce Studio. Two Lessons and my son has taken a liking to the instrument and the teacher Ms.Emily is so encouraging & supportive. She knows how to draw out my son who can be very reluctant to try in the face of a difficult task. Thanks to the wonderful Brenda Bedell for all the initial ground work in setting up the violin teacher for us! Highly recommend the studio for music lessons.
Andrew is a wonderful teacher. I need a versatile teacher because I need both classical and technical instruction and someone who can help me create viola parts for my band. Andrew is very skilled at all of this and more. So nice too, always makes lessons enjoyable!
I have been taking guitar lessons from Nick recently, and he is great! Very patient and explains things in a way I can understand. Doesn't jump down your throat the way some instructors do. Know he also teaches voice and keyboard lessons, and believe they'd be a good bet too. I would definitely recommend him!!
Steve has been teaching first time guitar lessons to my son. He feels so comfortable with Steve and is learning at a steady pace! Steve is so cool and incorporates a variety of music genres. A great experience!
My son took percussion lessons from David Nathan. My son describes him as a solid teacher with a good ear, patience, and good direction. As a parent, I appreciated David's communication -- he would send regular emails. I know he would do a regular showcase of all his students, which was also a lovely thing.
My son enjoyed Mr. Metz as a teacher. He was fun and informative. He kept the lesson entertaining.
I took guitar lessons with Tim a couple years ago before he moved away. I knew his skill and talent from his previous work in bands and it was a no-brainer for me to go to him. His ability to assess where you are at as a student and apply the proper curriculum to help advance you in your craft is what you would expect from a quality teacher such as Tim. If you're looking to open your creativity, you can't go wrong seeking guidance with him. He's got my recommendation 🖒👍
Both my children are taking piano lessons with Damian. They have had two lessons and liked it very much.
Although Kristen specializes in teaching kids, she also is a great teacher for adult piano learners. We meet weekly for about 30 minutes. 30 minutes seems short, but it is actually quite adequate for a beginning piano player. I am impressed and glad I found Kristen. I look forward to continuing learning with her.
My daughter took guitar lessons with Daniel Dyer. He is a wonderful teacher who helped a beginning student learn the basics and so much more! We highly recommend Dan for guitar lessons!
Pat is great! He's a wonderful teacher and really caters lessons to the student. For example, I was really looking to learn how to accompany myself while singing so a lot of our lessons are focused on getting to that point and improving my rhythm while playing. He always picks songs from artists I love and has no problem following up with me outside of lessons if I'm struggling with something. Would definitely recommend!
So far, and I haven't started my first lesson yet, they are very easy to work with and very flexible with my schedule.
Kris is really chill aka patient with my kids, who aren't into piano lessons. He doesn't push them but has a firm yet encouraging demeanor. He's cool.
Learning the Guitar under David's tutelage has been a very enjoyable experience. I could not have found a better instructor. He makes learning theory fun. I'm looking forward to continue my work with David. So, if you're looking for an instructor, look no further. You will not be disappointed. He loves to teach and it comes through how much during each lesson.
Ulrich is probably the best guitar instructor I have taken lessons from ever and here is why. Guitarists especially ones that like to play rock love to go fast and tend to develop sloppy techniques. Ulrich teaches you expression and how to make the notes come alive with color and feeling. In just 2 lessons teaching me basic BB King and Santana styles made all the difference and opened a whole new world on guitar for me. Music on any instrument is a journey and to be approached as an explorer.Guys like Satriani and Vai are always exploring and going into deeper dimensions with the sound. Ulrich can help you explore like those guys. The possibilities are endless and Ulrich is a wonderful musician, that has the kindness and patience to get you there relatively quickly. I like that Ulrich makes a CD recording of the lessons for review which has helped me a whole lot. I plan on taking more lessons in 2016 and seeing more of his creations at concerts. Hes one of those musicians that just gets better and better and better and realizes that all the formal schooling and degrees was only the beginning. Definitely worthy of being called a Guitar Guru or Medicine man of the guitar. Yes some can amaze you with the guitar...Ulrich can amaze you and teach you how to do it as well. I'm honored I crossed paths with Ulrich and Sabine Ellison---2 wonderful people I'm blessed to know.
First impressions are a must. And by just speaking to this gentleman over the phone I knew he would be a perfect fit to guide my son down a wonderful path of music and talent. Kenny is easy to talk to, is open to any ideas we have, and understands that to be a mentor he must bring all of his ten years of experience to our door. He has patience, skill, and loves to fill young minds with love for making music and encouraging all avenues to show kids the possibilities of achieving their goals. We have truly made a new friend.
Great party music duo who are pros with guests. I kept them an extra hour and they are now my Texas strummers for any party I have here at the ranch. Thank you JW and Cheryl! (Sorry if I spelled that wrong...). Ask JW to play his Army Ranger song and try to keep a dry eye.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, I've been playing the guitar for 12 years. I am a recent graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and have taught music and guitar lessons for the past 6 years. I have experience playing in a variety of styles including classical, jazz, and rock and have taken several years of music theory course work. I believe that making and understanding music at any level can enhance one's life. I try to cater my teaching style to the student's own interests and goals.
